Chapter 15

Shin Hye's P.O.V

I wake up to the morning lights creeping in through the window.
I open my eyes to see Taehyung's angelic face. He was sleeping so peacefully. His arms engulfing me in a warm embrace and our legs intertwined together.
I lift my hand to touch his face and trace my fingers along his sharp nose and beautiful eyes.
My thumbs brushing his lips.

He wakes up to my touch and looks in my eyes.
He smiles widely.

" Good morning" he chants in a deep morning voice.

" Good morning" I reply with a smile.

" Did you sleep Well?" He asks kissing my forehead.

"Hmm" I hummed in reply.

" We should get up now we have to get ready" I say and sit up on the bed.

He grabs My wrist and pulls me again.

" 5 mins more" He mumbles and buries his face in my neck.

"Taetae we have go get up." I say softly. I quickly escape from his arms and climb down from the bed.

He pouts and ultimately sits up and starts getting ready.

After a while we both check out and grab breakfast on the way.

I quickly call agent Connor.
He picks up immediately.

Agent connor: Ah! I was waiting for your call. The others are waiting at the airport. Your first destination is in Chicago where the culprit is currently present. Try Your best in catching him and I'll tell you the rest in Chicago.

Me: So we'll go to the airport right now?
Agent Connor: Yes and you'll get the tickets there.
Me: Ok got it.

I say and hang up.

We both reach the airport and is greeted by the other six members.

" Hyung how was your night?"Jungkook asks and jumps up to Taehyung.

" You don't need to know" Taehyung replies sticking his tongue out.

"Whatever" Jungkook frowns and walks ahead.

" Enjoyed?" Jimin questions with smirk.

"Very much" I reply.

We take our flight and Jimin continues bickering the whole flight.

" By the way...what did you do last night?" Jimin asks me.

Taehyung who was sitting on my other side trying to sleep glares at him.

"Yah Jimin!" That's our personal thing" Taehyung yells.

"Oo I see" he teases.

Taehyung frowns and goes back to sleep.

From behind I could hear Jin and Yoongi oppa continuously arguing. As always.

" Yoongi how can you sleep so much?! I'm bored talk to me" Jin oppa whines.

Yoongi oppa grunts in reply.

I smiled to myself. These two will never change.

Hoseok and Namjoon oppa were watching a movie while Jungkook was listening to music.
We reached Chicago the next day.

" Gosh it's quite cold here" Hoeok oppa says rubbing his hands together.

" Yeah it's literally snowing" I say rubbing my arms to keep myself warmer.

I wasn't exactly wearing warm clothes suitable for the weather.

" Are you cold?" Taehyung asks pulling me closer.
" Yeah a little" I reply.
He takes my hand and starts rubbing it.

"Aishh paboyah! Your hands are so cold you should have told me before." He complains.

I blushed. He was so cute and protective. I love him.

After a while a black car comes and Agent connor comes out of the car.

" Welcome guys!" He chants.
He was really cheerful. Unlike other CIA officers who always have grave and serious faces.

" Come in " He says.

We all get into the car.

In the car ride...

" Ok so here's the plan. We don't have much time to waste. " Agent Connor begins.
" The day after tomorrow the culprit will be leaving for Japan so you have tomorrow to gather as much as information possible. You will be disguised as business men and you have to pretend to be on his side and find out why he murdered the CEO. Then we'll be able to catch him."

" But who is that guy?" Jimin asks

"Kim Jonsuk" he replies.

A chill ran down my spine. It felt like I have heard this name before.

I looked over at Taehyung and see his eyes wide in shock and face pale.

" No way" he whispers.
