Chapter 19

Shin Hye's P.O.V

It all seemed to occur in slow motion. As soon as the glass shattered everywhere I sprang up from the bed and called for back up.

Immediately Jungkook barged into the room.
A look of astonishment took over his features as his eyes laid on the broken glass.

Suddenly there was a beeping noise.

It sounded like a ....

Time bomb.

As the realisation hit us we exchanged looks.

In an instant Jungkook rushed over to the mess and studied the area for a bomb.
In the mess lay a small black object with red light illuminating from it's centre.

"Jungkook it's there!" I called out.

He followed the position my finger pointed to and quickly grabbed the object. Red initials were beeping on a small screen indicating the countdown. It said 25 seconds before everything transmuted to ash. In an instant he ran out of the hospital room and his footsteps became inaudible.

I had an urge to follow Jungkook but Taehyung was not safe alone.
Concern for Jungkooks safety occupied my mind.
What if he couldn't disable the bomb in time?

" Shin Hye!" Taehyung screamed from behind. I look over to him to find a look of horror over his face.
In the rush and panic of the time bomb i had overlooked the presense of the assasin in the very same room.
I look towards the almost negligible glass that protected us from the outside.
There he stands all covered in black.
Before i inhaled a breath he spreads his arm and lets himself fall from his position in the dead of the night.
He wouldn't die though, most trained assasins like to fall off abruptly like some sort of heroic action movie making people assume they are dead and later pop out of nowhere and brag about their skills.

Funny huh?

Well I'd very much like to kick his ass the next time to ruin our very precious and rare comfortable moment.

Someone hugs me from behind.
And that is none other than Taehyung.

" You idiot there's glass shattered around go back to bed."
After i force-tuck him into bed, He looks at me and laughs.

"Well you should know I've been an agent longer than you and it's nothing very harmful to me." He brags, pulling me to sit beside him.

"Yeah and that is why you're the one who always ends up every week in the hospital. I can't comprehend how good you are at your job!" I remark sarcastically.

At this he smirks and says...

"Welcome back to the job Honey."

That sure as hell made me smile.

How long has it been? 6 months? Maybe more i guess. Well I kinda have been zoned out lately and hence couldn't proceed. Well, i was re reading last night and found half of this chapter saved in my draft. So I thought of posting it. I know its really short but that's all i could think of. Hope you guys liked it.
