Chapter 7

Shin hye's P.O.V

I woke up in the morning with a bad headache. I was a mess. My hair was like the nest of a bird and there were dried tears on my cheeks.

I groaned and heaved myself up the bed to go to the bathroom.
As soon as I went in and looked at myself in the mirror I realised what had happened the night before. I was shocked to think of the consequences. It proved how much Taehyung still loved me. But I can't forgive him. Not unless he explains why he betrayed me.

I brushed my teeth took a shower and went out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body.

I went out and my eyes widened in shock to see Taehyung in my room facing my bed and looking through my cell phone.

" Yah! What are you doing?" I yelled covering my body tighter with the towel.

When he realised I was already out his eyes widened in shock and he quickly ran out of the room throwing my phone on my bed.

Yeah that's right. He ran out of my room like a child.

What was he even doing?

Taehyung will always be a child.

I checked my phone and realised he was going through my texts and contact list. Maybe he wanted to check if I was in contact with CIA or not.

Gosh what will I do with this boy!

I went down to breakfast only to meet with a grumpy Jin oppa making breakfast.

" Jin oppa are you still mad at Yoongi oopa?" I asked sitting down at the table.

" Don't even talk about him" He said and joined us at the table.

" I had to spend 2 hours in the bathroom trying to get the disgusting stinking smell of fish from my hair. For him."

He shot Yoongi a glare who was sitting beside him staring at his food.

" Did you put poison in it?" Yoongi asked pointing at his plate with his fork.

" Taste it yourself and see" Jin said continuing to eat his food.

Taehyung was nowhere in sight.

Just then Taehyung barged into the room and took his plate and rushed back into his room.

Oh wow that's absolutely great!

" What's wrong with him?" Hoseok asked looking at me.

" Ask him yourself" I said with a shrug and continued with my food.

Just then a loud noise was heard from his room.

" Aaaaah!" Taehyung screamed and we all rushed to his room.

My spy instincts kicked in and I opened the door slowly to detect if danger was there in the room.

"Clear" I said to the other members and we got inside the room.

Taehyung was running around everywhere in the room.

Nose red and tears falling from his eyes.

" Jin hyungs what the hell did you put in my food?!" Taehyung screamed panting.

"OH my god I'm so sorry I think your plate switched with Yoongi. I actually put a lot of chilli powder in that." Jin hyung said with guilt.

"What!" Taehyung yelled.

"Uh ... wait I'm gonna get milk " Jin said and rushed outside the room.

The other members started laughing.

"Its not funny!" Taehyung yelled jumping up and down.

"OH my god look at him! He'll always be a child " Hoseok said holding his stomach with laughter

Taehyung kicked hoseok in his shin.

"Owww" he yelped in pain.

" Your kicks are still strong." He added with a smirk.

Just then Jin came in with the milk and handed it to Taehyung.

He quickly took it and drank it.

" Much better " He said sighing in relief.

"OH my god wait we had to go to a meeting today right!" Jungkook said .

"OH yeah right we are supposed to go let's get ready." Jimin said and nudged the others to get out.

Now only me and Taehyung were in the room.

It was awkward for we both didn't know what to say. It was very awkward.

" Uh.. are you okay?" I asked fidgeting with my fingers.

" Yeah" he simply said.

" Shin Hye can i ask you something?" He asked looking at me.

" what ?" I asked

"What was the nightmare about last night?" He asked softly.

" Well...I don't wanna talk about it." I said. I didn't want to. I would start crying again if I do.

He suddenly came up to me and hugged me. His warmth comforting me.

"Just know if you need something I'll be there okay? "He whispered softly.

I couldn't reply to that. I was confused. Very confused. What was he trying to do?

Just then my phone rang and Taehyung broke the hug.

I went out of the room without any explanation.

My heart skipped a beat when I checked who was calling.

With shaking fingers I received the call

Me: Hello?
Agent Connor: Shin hye...
Me: Why did you call?
Agent Connor: We need you
Me: Why are you even bothering when you know I'll not agree?
Agent Connor: look... I know it's hard and that stupid Taehyung made you promise but you need to come back. You're one of the best agents. We can't loose you.
Me: Ok I'll come back.
Agent connor: what?
Me: I'll come back
Agent Connor: oh wow you were easier to convince than I expected.
Me: I don't care about him anymore . Nor his stupid promise. I know he left the job but I'm gonna continue it. If he's not gonna explain...I'm not gonna keep his promise.
Agent connor: gosh this is gonna be tough. Anyways meet me at the cafe near your house at 4. And you're gonna be assigned to a partner in this mission.
Me: Wait what's tough?
Agent connor: You'll see.

He says and hangs up.

Gosh what did I do?

Taehyung's P.O.V

Agent conor: Meet me today at the cafe near your house at 4.
Me: Got it.

The time has come.
