It was now Saturday. I started my day like any other, showered, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. I dressed myself with a black tank top and jeans. Because it was Saturday, I knew I could wear my Jack Skelington slippers around. I went down to breakfast with my sewing project. There was only three weeks left until the Yule Ball. I asked Rin at breakfast if she wanted to join me in the dungeons to work on our dresses after my work was done. She agreed happily. Tylar was feeling sick, so he wasn't with us, as Rin had explained.
I went to the potions classroom right after breakfast. I knocked on the door, but there was no answer. I knocked once more to be sure no one was there.
Snape wasn't at breakfast, so, where could that sexy mess of a man be?
I looked down the corridors near the classroom. I knew his private quarters were around somewhere. I decided to wonder the halls until I found his quarters.
I finally came upon a door that was smaller than a classroom door, so, I knocked. There was no answer for a minute or two.
Finally, the door opened, and there stood the man I was looking for, in his black and grey striped pajamas. I gave a smile, amused by his appearance.
"Good morning Professor! Did I wake you?" He just glared at me. He didn't look well though. He rubbed his face with his hand.
"You didn't wake me." He replied. "What do you want?"
You.
"It's Saturday, sir. We spend weekends together, remember?" He gave a sigh.
"I'm in no condition to watch your foolish self." He huffed.
"Are you feeling okay? Do you need to go to the hospital wing?" I only asked because I thought it to be polite.
"If I needed to go to the hospital wing I would have. I don't need your help." He sneered. I sighed.
"What do you suggest I do today then?" He leaned against the door.
"I don't know, nor do I care." He began to close the door. I stopped him.
"Let me take care of you." I insisted, staring him down.
"You're not well and I need something to do today." I said. He let out a frustrated breath.
"Fine. But only because I am supposed to keep you busy." I mentally gave a celebratory 'yes' and pushed past him. I set my things down on the coffee table that sat in front of a couch. There was an armchair in the corner next to the couch. It looked to be a nice place. There was a small kitchen and decent sized sitting area. In the far corner was a dining table with stacks of paper piled on top of it. To the right there was a small staircase that I assumed was where the bathroom and bedroom were.
Snape closed the door and I smiled.
"You go back to bed. I'll organize this place for you. I'll bring you some soup a little bit later." I said happily. He rolled his eyes.
"Fine. Don't do anything drastic to the place." He sighed as he went up the stairs. I smiled and looked around, thinking of where to start. I walked over to the dining table and started going through the stacks of paper. Some were assignments he had mark, some were assignments he had yet to mark, and the rest was documents. I looked around the room and saw that there was a filing cabinet in the kitchen. I tilted my head.
Odd place for a filing cabinet.
I looked around the room. I then went to the filing cabinet and used a spell to lift it off of the ground as not to make any noise. I set it in the corner opposite the dining table. I opened the middle drawer and looked inside. Folders with nothing in them. I sighed.
This man is such a mess.
I grabbed the assignments, marker or not and moved them to the coffee table. I alphabetized the documents and put them in a folder and labeled them accordingly. I then went to the assignments and sorted them from marked and unmarked. I set the marked ones on top of the filing cabinet and the unmarked ones on the dining table in a neat stack. That was only the beginning.I grabbed a broom and began to sweep the floors. Who knows the last time he'd done it. I avoided upstairs as not to disturb Snape. I'd get to that part later.
When I was finished sweeping, I grabbed a bucket and scrub brush and began to was the floors, starting with the kitchen. I wanted to surprise him with a nice, clean living space. Half way done, I looked at the time. Now would be a good time to make the soup. I went into the kitchen and began looking for a pot and ingredients. His cupboards had no order. I had my work cut out for me.
I grabbed a pot and filled it with water. I looked in the fridge. There was nothing. I sighed and put my hands on my hips. I walked out of the kitchen and looked around for a moment. I became curious. I looked up the stairs, wondering how he was doing. On the other hand, I knew I shouldn't bother him. I shook my head and left his quarters for the kitchens.
