Chapter 5

As I see them I turn to Lin giving him scared eyes, he understood and stood up quickly. Before I could stand up nick walks over to us "well well well, if it isn't the suicidal bitch that ran away. You thought you could hide. Oh, and I see I wasn't enough so you turned to older men, whore." As he said that last part he glared at Lin. I didn't even realize I was in Lin's chest. Lin gave nick a death glare. I don't know what over came me but I talked back, "I'm the whore? Really? You are the man whore! You have a new girlfriend every week! I've lost count of how many girlfriends you've had!" My hands quickly went over my mouth. Nick glared at me and Lin before walking away, I could hear him saying things under his breath.

After that incident Lin and I left the cafe and started walking, I don't think we had a destination to go to, I think we were just walking. After a few minutes Lin spoke up, "That was awesome. I loved how you stood up for yourself. But I also feel bad, I didn't say anything." I looked down at my feet "Lin it's okay, don't feel bad. I don't even know what came over me. I know I'm going to pay for it later." As I soon as I finished my sentence Lin stopped walking and faced towards me putting his hands on my shoulders, I have to admit, I did flinch a little "No, you will not pay for it later, I WILL get you out of there. You are coming home with me tonight. I will tell Vanessa. I'm sure she will be okay with it." He pulled out his phone and I'm taking a guess he called Vanessa "Hey V!" Yep, it was Vanessa. "I'm bringing...a friend home. We also need to talk about this friend when we get home...Okay, Bye, love you." With that he hung up and smiled at me. With that we were on our way to his house.
