Celero town, established on the side of Mount Celero, the second tallest mountain in the world, was once a battleground during the "Neo-Arcaous War", occurring nearly 5 centuries ago after a violent band of fire types revolted against a perpetual and peaceful nation named The Kingdom of Arcaous, named after the Pokémon Arceus. Fueled with anger and aggression, an emboar named Lang threatened to presume the Arcaous throne by unifying their enemies and taking countless innocents of Pokémon in chains, for labor and prisoners of war.
The young king of Arcaous, a shiny rockruff with the name of King Hiro II, knew not the experience in war, much less memorized his own royal family blood-line.
To rule under the title as king of Arcaous, one must be of pure royal blood and a heir to the throne. How can you tell if one is of royal blood? Every single king that ruled over the land throughout history are all shiny. To keep the shiny blood-line as pure as possible, a law was passed in which a promiscuous relationship between a shiny Pokémon and a commoner is strictly forbidden. The consequence is banishment, or in extreme cases, death, regardless of who gives consent.
Despite the young rockruff's lack of experience in battle, he hand-chosen a select few who were strong, loyal and determined to sacrifice their lives for their king. Among the twenty-five chosen Pokémon, only two managed to impress King Hiro II with their teamwork and talent in battle. Throughout the years, the couple liberated and weakened the unified rebellion of Lang successfully by defeating their leaders, including Lang himself.
It's unclear the names of those who saved the kingdom of Arcaous, due to their identities being kept a secret inside "The Arcane Chamber", along with a plethora of secrets, including research on the genetics of eeveelutions of which all were lost after a tragedy that struck the kingdom once more. Not even the townsfolk knew about the true heroes of the Neo-Arcaous War, since they too were intentionally misinformed about their enemies rebelling against each other during the conflict, ultimately ending the war.
When King Hiro II matured into a youthful lycanroc like his father before him, he once told his kingdom that his bravery in bringing down his enemies was not only to make his father in heaven proud, but to encourage those that ,"whoever believes in one's self can achieve utmost impedance against the inverted state of mind."

Centuries after the reign of King Hiro II, the kingdom and the towns around it had transformed into one expansive metropolis, further adopting the use of transportation and the ease of communication, after the new and improved Com-Lace, an adjustable, personal communication device that was worn on the neck of any Pokémon, made life easier with the touch of a button. Other technological achievements were also invented by a unified team of psychic, electric and steel types. Although, most are kept confidential from the public.
Celero, a town close to the border that separates Arcaous from the Eastern Province, is isolated due to the freezing weather and the long, treacherous journey to the top of Mount Celero. Which is where our adventure begins to unfold.
