"Garris! Why hasn't those two nitwits returned from their salvaging run!?" The boss of the pawniards yelled as his voice echoed all throughout the catacombs, vibrating the jagged stalactites that hanged above them.

His not so trusty underling co-leader, Sir Garris, who just so happened to be a pawniard, replied hesitantly, "I don't know, but you don't suppose that they might be captured?" he said with peril.

The intimidating boss sighed with digression, "I told you to be strict with them! And not to worry my young successor, they SHOULD be arriving with the items that I entrusted for them to find."

Sir Garris wasn't like his kind. He's less obedient and a variant compared to the others. His definitive difference shows in his behavior, combat prowess and physique. His semi-rusted metal body gleams with a dark, discolored red, representing the number of moons that he's been isolated in the damp, dark environment. His unsheathed blades carried signs of aging, along with a corrolation of signs that pointed to them being constantly resharpened.

"What did you task them to find if you don't mind if I ask?" Garris asked.

"Nothing out of the ordinary. Anything that's easily attainable should be enough to keep our black market going strong," the boss intervened. "Though, the amount of time that they've been out and about, I'm expecting them to bring a burlap sack that's '2x' their weight."

"You really think so?"

"I doubt it. Those two never surpassed my judgement, but you can be amazed at what they can do as a duo," the boss replied.

At the moment they concluded their diluted conversation, the two pawniard who met face to face with Sorrace & Lisa, returned from their scavenging spree, both running towards the boss with a speed that could compete against a liepard.

"Boss! Boss! We have bad news!" the pawniard exclaimed while they slowed to a halt and presented arms.

"Never mind..." the boss said in a quiet but audible tone, loud enough for Sir Garris to hear. "What's the current situation?"

"Sir!" The pawniard who fought against Sorrace responded, all while lowering his arms to go to attention. "We came in contact with wanderers within the vicinity. We suggest that the item we confiscated is theirs and are planning to descend into the point of no return."

"You imbeciles!" the boss spoke with force. "Now our supplies are no longer secure thanks to your conniving--"

"Now just wait a second," Sir Garris interrupted. "What's that brown tarp you have on your shoulder?" he asked as he pointed toward Lisa's stolen, stained hood with his jagged edged blade.

The pawniard with Lisa's hood at hand never responded verbally, all except marching formally toward Garris and bowing toward them with the hood raised with both cutlasses.

"Intriguing. Garris, can you appraise this?" the boss asked while handing the garment over to him.

Although Sir Garris wasn't bred for combat, he is a professional in appraising the worth of extremely rare items to sell for the black market. After receiving the hood for analyzing, he scanned it continuously as if he was a madman seeking inspiration, delving head first into the linen and checking for any hidden power that may be inbedded within.

"This material...!" Garris was speechless, unable to cope with his undeprived enthusiasm. "Although it's tainted with stains, it's without a doubt that the main ingredient necessary to mend this material is very hard to come by, making this hood unique to the very thread."

"Hmph," the boss scoffed a smirk as he swiped it from Garris' hands. "So you two aren't so worthless after all," he said, eyeing the two pawniard who encountered Lisa & Sorrace.
