Yay! I have finally gotten a couple pounds of magikarp from Traire River, I feel that it was maybe a mile from the house. The bag was so full that I literally had to drag it across the snow, and as soon as I came to a hill, I rolled it up the hill with all my might. It was hard, but at least a blizzard wasn't able to distract me from my hunt like last time.
After I brought all the food back home, I don't think I've ever seen my older sister's face shine with so much joy before. Ever since our father disappeared, she hasn't been herself for the past few years. She was so close to him, so I can only imagine the pain that she is enduring right now.
I hope the feast that I helped prepare for dinner would convince sis that I'm more than ready to survive on my own, ready to take on the responsibilities of being on an exploration team. I can almost taste and smell the scent of the beaches, flowers and the many food delicacies from the heart of Arcaeous. I've heard so much good stuff about the capitol from the tourists that travel here, that I'm covered from head to paw with ecstasy, or happiness simply put.
Even if I'm able to go out on my own, I still need to find a partner to be accepted into the guild. And I still don't have a clue as to who that might be. I doubt any of the beartics or froslasses from down the lane would want to help me. They're very... um, patriotic about their land.
I sure hope that as soon as I leave to fend off on my own, I'll be able to find a partner right off the golbat! Someone who shares the same problems as me, or someone who understands the way that I feel.
