In a desperate trek to the lake in search of Lisa's white hood during the storm, they came across the tree from which Lisa threw her mud stained hood in aggravation. But upon their arrival it was too late, for it was nowhere to be found.

"I- I left it right here!" Lisa said, aggravated, unwilling to condone with what her eyes perceived to be true.

Sorrace replied as the radiated fox frantically surveyed the surroundings, "Maybe a wave of water washed it away into the river." he said, showing his friend some support.

Lisa inspected the ground in closer detail and suddenly came across some disturbing evidence, "I don't think it did..." she said, pointing her nose toward the recently disturbed ground for Sorrace to see.

Upon closer analysis, the mud around the tree had some footprints, giving them the idea that Lisa's hood was not washed away, but stolen! The footprints were still fresh, as these were created just a few minutes ago, when the storm had little precipitation.

"W-who could've done this?" Lisa said with despondence.

*Kursk kursk kursk*

A sound, loud enough to penetrate the gusts of wind, made it known to their ears that someone was close by, snickering with a resolve to execute an incouragous plot. In the heark of the moment, Lisa heard the direction of where the sound came from and became thoroughly aware of what was taking place.

"The sound came from over there!" Lisa said with a voice of concern, making a break toward the snickering sound, as if a cop was chasing after a burglar.

Sorrace ran after her, "W-wait!" he yelled, following behind to ensure that he wouldn't get lost in this unknown world.

After a quanitatious amount of leaping down boulders that made up the popular attraction, known as a waterfall, Sorrace caught up with Lisa who was in the ravine in front of a large cave, but only after he caught his breath, he found out that she wasn't alone.

Two pawniards were in possession of her white hood, fighting over it through a round of gambling within the presence of both Lisa and Sorrace, as their own blades for hands would consecrate the value of their find.

Regarding the appearance of the pawniard, they seemed very opposable in the eyes of Lisa and Sorrace, as they transpired a deep, burgundy red which countered the original coloring of pawniard with ease. Their blades also appeared accretive, blunt but still a tolerable weapon of choice for thieves such as these.

"W-why not?!" she asked with anxiety. "That hood... no, that heirloom is very valuable to me! I swear to you that it's worth a whole lot less to you than you realize!" Lisa said with affirmity, lifting her head high above her shoulders to intimidate the thieving pawniard.

The two pawniard then stared at each other, nodding once to confirm what their next plan of action is going to be. After one of them stabbed the hood with it's blades, it threw the mud stained clothing over it's shoulder and prepared to make a break for it.

"If it's THAT valuable to you, then come and take it then!" he said in a deep voice with furociousness, crossing two blades in front of his face in defense. "Hurry on! I'll stand guard and you make way to the boss!" he yelled with urgency.

The pawniard, who possessed Lisa's white hood, ran into the cave which lied directly behind his partner, dissolving completely into the darkness without a trace.

Both Lisa and Sorrace, who witnessed everything, took a step back from their original standing position in shock, "How could you be so passionate about stealing!" Sorrace said, defending on Lisa's own accord. "Even though I don't know what's going on, I still remember that justice will be served to those who plot severity!" he said with affirmity.

Lisa turned herself toward Sorrace, looking all the more greatful for his presence, "Sorrace..." she said with a soft voice.

The fortified pawniard responded remorselessly, "That's some strong vocabulary that you got 'ere." After his apparent response, he sprinted toward Sorrace with spuratic speed, lifting up his right blade in retaliation, "Maybe you should watch your tongue!" the pawniard yelled.

With nothing but instinct, Sorrace ran toward the attacking pawniard and slid across the rocky terrain on his side, protruding his leg far enough to hit the pawniard's foot, tripping him in the process and forcing him to go headfirst into the dirt, all while sliding a few feet until coming to a complete stop.

"Uurgh", the pawniard groaning while his head was still in the crater of dirt. When he tried to get up from the ground, he paused as he peeked behind him, meeting his eyes with Sorrace and occasionally with Lisa.

Without showing any hostility, the sharp-edged Pokémon got up and lowered his guard, walking slowly toward the pair and eventually cutting through between them peacefully toward the cave, "You fought with bravery, no one has ever stood up against my attack with such an act," he said with antiquity.

"If you want the goods then I suggest you head back; that fearlessness won't earn you anything unless you have the determination to do so." the pawniard lectured to the couple who didn't bat an eyelash and nonetheless reluctant to lower their guard.

The pawniard continued to stroll toward the darkness of the cave until he came to a complete stop, all the while staring toward bowels of the mysterious dungeon, "As you say, our boss's passion of stealing runs thin... if you want that trinket back, our boss is not too far." he finished with his final address and disappeared into the dungeon.

The fennekin grew weary, "My hood..." she said in a quiet voice. "Please! You have to help me to get it back, otherwise I won't be able to live with myself for another minute!" Lisa said, ensued with imminent tears.

Lisa... her emotions are the reason why I was rescued in the first place. If she didn't possess a hint of selflessness, she would've left me in the hands of these crooks, or worse! If I'm ever going to find my way back home, if at all possible, I need to help Lisa by paying it forward, Sorrace thought to himself.

Sorrace cleared his throat and swallowed until he was able to speak without constraint, "I'll help you get it back," he said. "But on one condition, you make me as a part of your team."

"No way! Thank you so much Sorrace!" Lisa prostrated to the riolu, unable to contain her joy and tears. "Never have I thought I would experience so much goodness and evil in one day," she said, expressing certitude amid the turmoil.

"Alright then Sorrace, if we're going to work as a team I'm gonna have to address something, so this cave here isn't just any kind of cave for teddyursa. These dungeons are random, yet dangerous! You can find treasures beyond your wildest dreams in dungeons, but you have to remember that when there's opportunity, there is risk," Lisa explained thoroughly to her new team mate, hoping to enthrall his attention through her illustrated body language.

"I got it," Sorrace confirmed, nodding twice diligently.

The pair both agreed to venture forth into the cave, speedwalking in the direction where the pawniard's footprints led, hoping to catch up with them to retrieve Lisa's hood in time. The cave, in question, glimmered from the rocks that reflected off of the sun which began to peek out from the dispersing clouds, giving the innards of the cave some aforementioned bioluminescence. It was eerily quiet. The only source of sound was coming from the water droplets that fell in synchronous rhythm from the moist ceiling above.

After venturing through the cave for what seemed like an eternity, everything remained the same until they saw a hint of light which peaked through from the end of the tunnel. Both Sorrace and Lisa dreaded the moment of staying in the cave a minute longer, as they unsuspectedly shared the fear of what lurks in the dark, along with claustrophobia. Lisa trailed closer behind the riolu, almost hugging the side of him. Her desperation of not wanting to be left behind in the dark was so immense, that she didn't let the feelings of depending on a male get the best of her.

"Are- are we there yet?" Lisa asked him in a soft voice.
