We received piles upon piles of mail over the past two weeks. Specifically, the paperwork from all of the girls hoping to be selected (unless they're like America who didn't want to be selected in the beginning...)

A guard helped me out as we carried the pile of mail into the office.

"We've got more mail!" I said, walking into the room.

Kaden groaned, "There's still more? And I thought that I was almost done with it all."

"You're dismissed," I told the guard beside me as he nodded. I turned back to Kaden, "Don't worry, this is the very last load you'll be dealing with. Just a reminder, you need all 35 chosen by next week."

"How did you get through all of it, Dad?" Kaden asked, looking up from his work. "Did you know Mom was the one for you when you saw her entry?"

"Well, son," I started, ruffling his hair, "My father chose the 35 without consulting me. He only accepted your mother to make everything seem fair. But even though she was stubborn, and still very is, I knew that she was the one."
