29. Surprise

The next morning I'm woken by someone shaking me awake, I groan hiding my face in my pillow not wanting to wake up.

" Kitten wake up"

I hear daddy say softly patting my hair. I roll over looking at him smiling down at me pouting before rubbing my eyes and letting out a small little yawn.

" Now that was adorable just like a little kitten"

He says causing my cheeks to burn red before pulling me in a kissing me gently causing me to blush even more. I lean over to the bedside table getting my whiteboard.

" Good morning daddy"

I write holding it up so he could see.

" Good morning princess guess what?"

Daddy says making me a little excited I sit up and crawl into his lap causing him to chuckle as I look up at him with puppy dog eyes waiting for him to continue.

" I have a little surprise for you today"

He says kissing my forehead.

" What is it?"

I write moving it so he could see.

" Well that's not how surprising work little one if I told you then you wouldn't be surprised"

" But I want to know"

I write holding it up so he could see.

" Well you will just have to wait now won't you"

He says bopping my nose causing me to giggle.

" Fine"

I write holding it up so he could see.

" Now now I don't think that is the right answer kitten"

He says chuckling causing me to roll my eyes at him which he lightly spanks me for.

" And no eye-rolling ether mister"

He says sternly.

" Yes daddy"

I write moving it so he could see.

" Much better kitten"

Daddy says patting my head.

" Now for the real question would you like bath time or breakfast first"

He says I begin to write but my tummy beats me to it letting out a loud growl.

" I'll take that as breakfast first"

He chuckles trying to stand up but I hold onto him tightly not moving, he's been gone for so long and I don't want to leave his side today at all.

" Little one you need to eat"

He says. I pout looking up at him still hugging him tightly. Daddy sighs before picking me up and gently placing me on his side so I wrap my legs around his waist before grabbing my whiteboard and marker before going downstairs.

" You're a clingy little kitten today aren't you"

Daddy teases kissing my cheek I say nothing just look up at him nodding my head yes.

" Good cause I love when you get all clingy maybe I should go on tour more often"

He chuckles making me look at him pouting shaking my head no.

" I'm only joking kitten I'll only leave if I have to being away from you was the worst"

He says pulling me in for a passionate kiss causing me to blush before setting me down on a kitchen stool and handing me my whiteboard, but I stomp my foot against the stool causing him to raise an eyebrow at me I just want to be with him as close as humanly possible all day I mean he was gone for what felt like forever and I mean look at him can you blame me.

" Kitten"

He says sternly before I kick the stool again.

" What's wrong?"

He says I grab my whiteboard and pen.

" I don't want to leave your side today I missed you so much, daddy"

I write holding it up so he could see.

" Well I need to make you breakfast and I kinda need my arms to do it kitten"

He says chuckling causing me to shake my head no before my tummy rumbles once more.

" Yes I do how about I go get you one of your stuffies to cuddle and some colouring stuff so while I make breakfast you can colour me a picture and hug your stuffie and as soon as I'm finished we'll cuddle on the couch and watch some cartoon okay little one"

Daddy says I say nothing just nod my head yes before he kisses me on the lips once more before finally leaving the room and a few seconds later returning with my pink bunny stuffie and a princess colouring-in book and some crayons. Daddy hands me the stuffie which I cuddle tightly against me before putting the colouring book down in front of me opening a random page. I go to pick up a crayon but daddy stops me forcing me to look up at him. He kisses me once more before placing a pink paci in my mouth causing me to smile up at him.

" You look so cute baby I love being your daddy and taking care of you"

Daddy says causing to blush before I start colouring and he goes to the cupboard taking out a pink hello kitty sippy.

" Do you want milk or juice"

Daddy says looking back at me from the fridge I hold up one finger.

" Milk?"

Daddy says looking at me confusedly causing me to giggle and nod my head yes. he pours the milk into the sippy cup before handing it to me which I spit my paci out picking up the milk and taking a big drink before putting my paci back in my mouth going back to colouring in while daddy starts making pancakes. After he's done making pancakes and putting whipped cream and maple syrup on top I'm still not finished my colouring which daddy tells me it's okay to finish it later. We go into the lounge room where daddy puts on care bear cousins while we cuddle and eat breakfast and once we are finished we cuddle for a little while longer neither one of us wanting to move. We watch one more episode before daddy cleans up the plates carries me back upstairs where we have a bubble bath together when I get out daddy wraps in a warm towel dressing me in my pink checkered overalls that have baby written on the front with a plain white shirt underneath before clipping a paci clip to my paci and helping me with my shoes. I love him so much and I don't know what I would do without Vic if anything ever happened to him I don't think I could make it alone I love this man with everything I got and more and I'm going to prove it.

" Are you ready to go to your surprise kitten ?"
