30. Hear My Voice

" Are you ready to go to your surprise kitten?"

Daddy says. I say nothing just look up him smiling and nodding my head before he picks me up and takes me to the car putting me in my booster seat and handing me my pink bunny stuffie and a new sippy cup now filled with apple juice. He then shuts the door but he doesn't go to the front of the car he goes back into the house disappearing for a minute maybe more I don't know. I get lost in thought, I never thought this would happen, I never thought I would be good enough for anyone I never even imagined someone could love me the way Vic does and treat me like a princess and accept me for me and not care that I don't speak but little does Vic know I have a surprise of my own for him he needs to know how much I care for him no matter what. I'm pulled out of my thoughts when daddy finally climbs in the front seat of the car smiling back at me in the review mirror.

" Where did you go?"

I write holding it up in the mirror so daddy could see before starting the car.

" I went to get somethings for today and no I'm not telling you"

He chuckles starting the car while I pout, did I mention I really hate surprises. We finally get to the park and Vic gets out of the car before helping me out of the car and taking my hand before walking around to the back of the car and opening the boot revealing a blanket and a picnic basket. I look up at him smiling remembering last time we had a little picnic at daddy's favorite hiding spot to escape and write music.

" Well do you like your surprise kitten"

Daddy says grabbing the basket and blanket before shutting and locking the car before we begin walking over to the park.

" I love it so much do you remember the last time we did this"

I write before holding it up so he could see.

" Of course kitten how could I not it was the most perfect afternoon with the most perfect little kitten"

Daddy smiles kissing me on the cheek causing me to start blushing like crazy.

" Now the real question is where should we set up camp before I take my little one to go play on the playground"

Daddy says looking over towards me.

" You're so adorable"

He says making me blush even more. I look around before pointing at a little hill, where if we stayed late enough we would be able to see the sunset which although cheesy would be beautiful.

" Good idea kitten"

He says and we start to make our way up the small hill, once we reach the top daddy gently sets out the blanket on the grass along with the basket before sitting down and pulling me into his lap causing me to let out a giggle.

" Can we stay until late this afternoon so we can be cheesy and watch the sunset together"

I write before moving it so he could see.

" Of course little one I would love to be cheesy with you"

He says chuckling and kissing my lips gently.

" But first things first"

He says with a smirk playing on his lips, helping me stand up before standing up himself.

" Race you to the park"

He says before quickly sprinting off and me running after him giggling, when we reach the park we're both out of breath and panting.

" Hey no fair you cheated"

I write holding it up so he could see pouting.

" I don't think so I think you're just to slow"

He chuckles causing me to pout more.

" But I know how to make you happy kitten"

Daddy says but before I could write anything back he picks me up causing me to let out a squeak of surprise, before putting me down on a swing, he takes my whiteboard and marker placing it on the ground beside us. Before going behind me and grabbing the chains on the swing and pulling me back and beginning to push me on the swing causing me to giggle, we play around at the park for the whole day daddy pushes me on the swing and when he got bored of that he caught me in his arms to stop the swing causing me to blush, he watched as I ran around on the play gym and he pretended I was his princess he was trying to save the castle and caught me as I went down the slide we even ended up playing a game of tag which I totally won by the way. Daddy grabs my whiteboard and marker off the ground before coming back over towards me.

" Are you ready for some lunch kitten"

Daddy says coming over and taking my hand in his, I say nothing just nod my head as we start walking back to our spot. When we reach our blanket we both sit down and daddy hands me a sandwich which are cut into cute little shapes and yogurt and my sippy cup which I gladly take, and a sandwich and a beer for him. We eat our lunch quietly and when we're finished we just sit on the blanket for the rest of the day cuddling and talking and watching the clouds seeing which one of us can make shapes out of them before finally the sun starts to set, which is sad in a way this has been one of the best days of my life and I'm not ready for it to end I wish I could stay in this day and live it over forever but I know it has to end.

" What are you thinking about kitten?"

Daddy questions.

" You and how amazing this day was and how badly I don't want this to ever end"

I write before moving it so he could see as he starts playing with my hair.

" I feel the same way kitten I wish this day could last forver"

He says looking down at me before pulling me in for a passionate kiss, I pull away and throw my whiteboard and makers across the blanket causing daddy to look at me confusedly.

" I love you Vic"

I say my voice very quiet and horse from years of not speaking. Vic says nothing just sitting there shocked.

" I love you to Kellin and it's so glad to hear your voice I never thought this day would happen this isn't a dream right"

Vic starts to say quickly causing me to giggle and cuddle into him, I couldn't picture my life without Vic standing by my side every step of the way.
