Blue blurs ran past my falling body as the metal elevator soared towards the sky.

Sounds of terror escaped my mouth. Memories rushed through my mind, I didn't even know if I could call them memories as they were only a shadow of what I once knew. Before I came to my senses a bright light shone from above illuminating the small, cramped cage that held bags of grain and one small scared girl, me.

Suddenly everything went black.
I slipped into a dark abyss before regaining a small part of my sanity. My eyes shot open with one movement to meet a blonde boy holding a piece of paper. I glanced around at the unfamiliar faces that surrounded the metal cage. I saw a face and in my brain something clicked, "Thomas! THOMAS!" the name sounded so comfortable on my tongue, "THOMAS!" Then just like a light bulb going out, I slipped into a black abyss once again.

Blue lights flashed and a nurse pushed me through a long white hallway, I looked down to see two tubes connected into my skinny arms. Three words echoed over and over again, "Wicked is good." A boy stood before me with a distressed look on his face "Newt! I need to save Newt!" He yelled before running through big computer towers glowing in blue. "Thomas!" I yelled after him but he had already disappeared. The same white hallway returned again and doorways flew by without a sound. Closing my eyes I imagined life before all of this, but it was as if a barrier had been put up and nothing but darkness covered my memories, and with one last line, "Wicked is good." I faded out.

I woke up to a room with the smell of freshly chopped wood, slowly sitting up a headache took hold of my brain. What is this place? I wondered. With no sign of any human anywhere I got to my feet and left the small hut. I peeked my head out to see teenage boys walking around everywhere, What is this place? Echoed again in my head. Slowly making my way around a small fireplace I made my way to a big wooden handmade ladder. Without hesitation I climbed, up and away from the strange, unfamiliar place.

Shouts came from below "HEY! GIRL!" I peered over the edge of the small tree house and saw a group of angry looking faces. "WHAT ARE YOU BLOODY DOING?!" yelled an angry boy with an English accent. WHAT ARE YOU BLOODY DOING AND WHERE BLOODY AM I?!?! I replied yelling inside my head. So I began throwing objects I could find on the small wooden platform, which was mostly rocks.
"Take cover y'all, take cover!" A dark boy called covering himself with a farm crate.
It was quiet for a moment and all was still. I heard murmurs from below, and then a familiar voice shouted, "HEY! IT'S THOMAS! ...it's Thomas.."

Somewhere inside by brain something shifted, like a weight had been lifted. Thomas? Thomas. Thomas? Thomas. The name was familiar but at the same time distant. As curiosity took over my body I glanced over the edge to steal a glance at a brunette boy, the same boy that was in my dream. "..I'm going to come up, okay?" I gave a nervous look and nodded slowly.

The door opened and I grabbed the closest thing to me, which happened to be a long machete. I held it out at the door waiting for the worst. Instead I was met with a kind face, a face that understood even before I had started talking to him. Suddenly his face fell and terror held his face for a second before disappearing.

A thousand questions entered my mind, "Where am I? What is this place? Why can't I remember anything?"

"It's all normal, we've all been through this..."
Normal? and who is 'we'?

"...and your name will come back to you in a few days."

The same sensation entered my mind, something clicked.

"It's Y/N"

"What did you say?" confusion washed over his face.
"My name. Is Y/N"

"Y/N, I'm Thomas.." he said reaching towards the machete I still had held out and taking it into his hand, "..but you already knew that."

"Who are you?" I asked sternly.

"That's the thing, I don't know."

Thomas. Thomas? Thomas.

The same name that I called out in my dream, the same name that felt so close but yet so far away.

"Is she coming down?" The same English accent called.

"Just give us a sec!" Thomas called turning towards me, his mouth curling into a smile.

What is this place? Why am I here?
