I get off my trusty little scooter and push it into the little shed left for my precious baby. It is an old wooden shed about 2m by 2m big enough for her to fit in there and nice and snug, I also keep my hockey equipment on a nearby shelf. Opening the doors and putting on the tiny solar powered light, I tug off my helmet and set it on the shelf, grabbing the box and notes, I stuf them in my school bag, after setting my equipment bag on the shelf, I swing my bag on my back.

I push the door closed and made sure the lock clicks. Tossing my keys in my bag, I continue to the front door, the path was a stone pathway with little cosmos on the edges. At the window I see my mom helping the twins with their homework, and Sylvester was sitting at the desk typing away on his computer. I stop and admire the house as I reach the door.

A two story house with big windows that welcome the sunlight in the early hours of the morning. The smoky grey exterior is a welcoming sight for me tonight, the darker grey roof matched perfectly with the grey balcony by my room. Seeing that Kyle rarely stays at the house, I got the pick of the upstairs bedrooms, so of course I picked the one with an adjoining bathroom and lovely balcony. On that balcony I have a comfy chair looking over the small pond in our yard.

This house was a nice and cozy home for our family. 3 bedrooms upstairs and a guest bedroom which Kyle would use if he was here, 3 bathrooms which includes mine. And there is also a hangout zone with a small radio and a few comfortable chairs. And is inbetween the rooms and has a balcony type a thing that looks down at the dining room.

Downstairs was where the master bedroom was with an absolutely gorgeous bathroom built in the wardrobe, almost like a secret bathroom. A beautiful modern kitchen with high tech appliances and marble countertops with an island counter where a stainless steel basin in the middle and on the other side are bar stools to prop yourself on for breakfast.

The dinning room was in the middle of the kitchen and the lounge area, a long oak table with 8 chairs and a runner white table cloth. The table was on a fluffy light grey rug, which was a contrast to the dark brown wooden floors. The dinning room blends into the lounge, a flat 42" screen tv is mounted on the wall next to a window, and a coffee table with a Xbox and a radio on it. There is a big U shaped grey couch in front of the tv, with another fluffy rug where a square coffee table stood with a vase of flowers which were always filled with fresh flowers.

Finally there is a small bathroom in the corner next to the master bedroom with just a toilet and a small basin. In between the bathroom and the master room the staircase that leads upstairs is well hidden from wandering eyes, dark wooden stairs lead to the upper part labelled the rebelious zone. For the plain reason all of us siblings stay up there and always conspire with pranks. The curtains are variations of grey and some patterned wallpaper, Sylvester hired an interior decorator to 'furnish' the walls.

Standing on the platform, I take a deep breath and enter the house, I hear how mom is helping the twins. I shut the door and lock it, I walk to the dinning room and feel how my heart is beating on my chest. As I enter, I draw mom's attention and silence greets me, I shift myself to a chair close to Dave but as I sling my bag down. Mom motions me to stop with her palm.

"Guys, carry on, me and Dia are just going to have a little chat okay?" She puts on a smile and nods to me to head upstairs. As I head up the stairs, the air around us grows tense before either of us has said a word. Entering my room is like entering a light atmosphere, I turn on my light and it lights up my pale mauve walls with family and friends framed photos. My double bed is in the middle of the room and has side tables on either side with books and lamps.

My desk is next to the side table on the left and next to a huge window that looks over the trees of the surrounding world, it is tucked away because my bathroom's wall are built so that my desk is like a safe haven. A fluffy purple and black rug lies next to the bed.
