Chapter 6

Auburn’s POV

The rest of the week passed in a daze I would just walk into class sit down and then I would get lost in those chocolate brown eyes that keep making their way back into my mind and while I’m thinking about what a wonder those eyes are I hear the bell ring and then I would walk into my next class and the same thing would happen the only problem is that the real eyes weren’t there and I haven’t seen Noah since he walked out of gym. I’ve been texting him to see where he was and he would just always respond back with o don’t worry I’ll be back soon. I’m starting to worry ‘cause I don’t wanna be annoying or anything but something is telling me that he isn’t safe wherever he is I really just wanna have him back here so he can hold me and tell me that everything is going to be o- RING!!!!! Just like last class my wish is cut off I really need to start wishing earlier in my classes. I walk in to the lunch room grab my lunch then go to sit down with Sapphire and her friends well I guess my friends now too but anyway as I’m walking over guess who I see waiting by the table getting an earful from Sapphire yup Kyle. Of all people I wish that it was Noah standing over there instead of his loser best friend.

“Kyle why are you over here?” I asked him as nicely as I could.

“I need to talk to you, Now.” He responded and I winced a little bit by it cause his voice was so sure and orderly.

“ About what?”

“Noah.”

Oh my I hope that nothing happened to him if something did I’m going to be so upset at myself for not texting him earlier when I thought about it.

“Is he ok?” I asked I’m sure that my eyes were hiding nothing and my voice wasn’t to good either I could even tell that  it was laced with worry and concern.

“I hope so just follow me there are some things that we need to talk about.”

“Ok but what about the rest of my classes?”

“I’ll handel them.” I turned around to see that Collin was standing behind me

“Thanks Collin I owe you” With that I gave him a hug and ran off to find out what was wrong with Noah praying the whole way that he’s ok and safe.

We get to this huge house and I wonder ‘is this where noah has been all week?’

“Come on in we don’t bit just don’t piss anyone off.” Kyle said interrupting my thoughts.

It was only then that I realized I was standing by the car with the door open staring at the house.

“O ummm sorry coming”

When we get inside I get hit with all of these different smells and sights. I smell pine, fruit and what is that smells like wet dog? But then I get hit with a very familiar one of forest pine and mint.

“Why is Noah here?”

“He ummmm lives here but ill let you hear it from him than me cause I would prob be dead if I told you.”

“Is he in an orphanage????”

“O god no you ask a lot of questions but I’m done answering them for now. You have a confused look on your face and you look like you have just smelled something? Am I correct?” He says all of this while walking up a long narrow stairwell.

“Ya it’s really weird nothing like this has ever happened before what is it?”

“Like I said Noah can explain it better than I can so ill let him tell you.”

With that I just started to look around to see if I could see where we are and where we are going but Kyle’s huge frame blocks pretty much all of my view from anything. We finally stop a huge door that I’m assuming is where Noah is but I don’t know maybe he is kidnapping me. Kyle opened the door and sitting at a desk with his head down was the boy that I had been thinking about all week long and when I would get to see him next. He must have acknowledged our presence cause he talked and again I was taken away by his voice.
