Noah’s POV
While I was walking into 7th hour gym I thought that I had finally escaped from her for the day and I could finally focus until I see her walk in with Sapphire and then she walks in and right behind her is, Collin Matthews. Of all the people in the school she had to make friends with HIM! GOD what is she thinking and why is he staring at her like that. I swear he makes any “moves” on my mate and he is going to wish that he was never born I would kill him slowly and painfully until he finally realizes that she is mine. But by then it’ll be-.
‘Hey Noah we got an issue’ Kyle suddenly interrupting my thoughts and plans of torture for him.
‘WHAT!?’
‘We are having some company tonight and I don’t think that it’s gonna be pleasant’
‘Why not’ I all but growled to him through my mind
‘It’s the Rightsford pack and they aren’t here to fool around I guess.’
‘Well of course they aren’t gonna fool around when we killed their last alpha.’
‘Ya well they want revenge I guess and I wouldn’t let anybody know that you have found your mate that’ll be one of the first things that they go for just to make you suffer from what you did.’
‘Alright but if anyone makes a move or tries to make a move then they are going to be a dead man.’
‘How far are they from our land?’
‘About 5 miles from the lines on the north side’
‘Gahhh ok get the others together we need to go settle this now’
‘Alright will do where do you want to meet?’
‘Right inside of the woods outside of the school’
‘Ok we will be there soon.’
“Mr. Osborn may I go to the office I’m not feeling too well?” I asked politely hoping that he would sense my need to leave right now.
Thankfully I was excused without any more questions as to what was going on supposedly with my “headache”.
As I run out of the back entrance at the school I slowly strip down in the middle of the forest so I don’t have to go all the way back home to change and I don’t think anyone would want to see me walking through town stark naked……on second thought maybe that would get Auburn to…..No Bad Noah she doesn’t wanna see you showing everyone everything that you have. So with that out of my mind I contact Kyle through our mind link.
‘Dude where are you’? I asked.
‘We are on our way we got caught sneaking out the back so give us a minute or two we are running your way now.’
‘Alright see ya in a few’ Then I blocked him back out of my mind I just need to think about what I’m going to do I can’t keep this from her I need her to know what is going on because otherwise I’m not gonna be able to see her anymore and I can’t take that so I made it a priority to get her to come on a run with me and then we could talk I’m hoping that I don’t scare her because that is the absolute last thing that I wanna do right now because I mean I know that she is a werewolf from her scent but she still seems shaky on the whole subject which possibly means that she has just shifted or had a bad experience.
About 30 seconds later Kyle and the gang show up and now it’s time to kick some rogue ass.
Auburn’s POV
I walk into class with Sapphire and Nichole and Collin. When I notice that Noah is o where to be seen I could have sworn that this morning he said that he had this class with me I mean he just got up and walked out of 7th hour like nobody’s business but he looked really worked up about it and I wonder and hope that he’s ok…….Gosh snap out of it Auburn he is bad news you can’t keep worrying about him he is a big boy
‘But Auburn you can’t always say that because one day he might not be there and someday your gonna look back and wished that you had texted him and asked if he was ok’
‘OMG who are you your really really flipping annoying’
‘Ok so now I have your attention good so I’m actually a good thing sometimes but I’m your inner wolf and you need to go check up on your mate to make sure that he is ok I have a feeling that he is gonna be upset tomorrow and you need to see what is up so take your phone out and just send him a simple “You ok?” and then you can go back to worrying about your friends.’
‘GAHHHH Fine ill text him but you leave me alone for a bit so I’m leaving now and fyi I’m not a werewolf why do people keep telling me that.’
With that I blocked her out of my mind, I took out my cell phone and then remembered that I don’t have his number it was only then that I realized I had a small piece of paper rolled up and stuck in the top of my spiral notebook. So I plucked it out of the place it was in and then I unrolled it and sure enough written in neat letters it says
‘I know this is weird but we need to talk text me when you find this I will probably be gone from school already so just text me we really need to talk there are some things that I need to explain.’

Ok that is by far the sweetest thing that anyone has ever, ever, ever done I have had weird but slightly romantic jesters towards me. I opened up my cell phone and looked at the numbers scrawled across the page in his lovely looking hand writing and I input them into my phone and saved it as ‘Noah’ I then opened up a blank text message and texted
‘u ok?’

It was only then that I remembered what my text signature said and I hit my forehead with the palm of my hand, but I forgot that I was sitting in the middle of the class and when I did that the entire class and when I say entire that is exactly what I mean including the teacher so I just laid my head down on the desk and made no eye contact with anyone. Suddenly my phone vibrated in my pocket and as I pulled it out I was hoping that it was Noah and I was really happy when it said Noah on the screen I pulled it out of my pocket and read his reply
‘Hey Auburn ummm we really need talk about something and I wanna see you would you like to go to a movie and then catch dinner or something?

BTW I like your signature ;-)’
I replied with a smile on my face
‘I would really like to but wouldn’t that be called a date? Not that it matters but ya I would like to go how about Friday night?
BTW you should change your signature it’s too bland lol ill talk to you later and you never answered my other question Are you ok?

I put my phone back into my pocket and returned my attention to my teacher and then everything fell silent and I noticed that nobody was looking at the teacher but at the doorway. I turned around and I looked to see who everyone was staring at and I laid my eyes on a really, really handsom guy he caught my gaze and I’m pretty sure that I blushed but he winked at me when he caught my eye. OMG a Guy ACTUALLY WINKED AT ME!!!!
But who is he and why is he here I have a bad feeling about him and that I should stay away but why????
