Tris' POV

It was a typical day. I was relaxing on the beach after a full day with my best friend Christina, shopping, Starbucks, a mani-pedi and doing our hair.

I know what you're thinking. Last time I talked to you, I was in a shattered world, after sacrificing the only one I ever loved.

Now, 10 years later, the world is much different. We developed a different system yet again. We decided that the source of all our problems was this: work. So we do not work now; everything is done by machines, which are developed by a specialized group of qualified scientists that volunteer.

Of course, I'm not one of those scientists, and neither is Christina. So our life is a party, and everyone is invited. No work, no stress, no pain. Everyday, we shop, we get our nails done, we drink coffee, and we party.

"So what's for lunch, Tris?" Christina asks me. I shrug- thinking is not encouraged in our new world.

Suddenly a ball hurtles towards us. It's a typical white volleyball. Christina picks it up, and tosses to the court it came from, and some guys come to us, in flip-flops and beach clothes. "Hey, thanks guys!" One of them says.

"Psh, no problem!" Christina laughs, removing her sunglasses. I remove mine too.

"Hey so, what are you guys' names?" Another one asks.

"I'm Tris, she's Christina," I reply. They grin and introduce themselves.

Then I notice one guy hanging at the back. He has deep blue eyes with a lighter patch on one side of his iris. He has a deep tan, taut muscles and jet black hair. When he looks into my eyes, I'm flooded with recognition.

I cover my mouth. No, this cannot be happening. Jeanine had to have killed him. Why wouldn't she? "I-I...I have to go to the bathroom," I mumble.

I run to the bathroom. If this guy is the one I think he is, he will follow me...if he even remembers me. It had been 10 years, and I wouldn't blame him if he forgot all about me and moved on. That's what I wish would've happened to me, but despite all my efforts, I never could.

I run to the back. After all, he wouldn't be able to go to the girls' bathroom! I wait there, sitting on a bag of piled trash. I tap my hands nervously on my knees. "Cmon, cmon, cmon," I mutter nervously. What if I was wrong? What if it's not who I think it is, and I just made a complete FOOL of myself?

I had begun to give up hope and get up, back to Christina and the guys when I hear a soft rustling of the brooms at the entrance. My head jerks towards the sound, and my eyes brighten as I caught sight of him.

"Tobias," I whisper. With no emotion, he walks to me, and puts his arms around me. I bury my head in his neck, and he on mine. "Tobias, I've missed you so much, you don't know how-" he silences me with a kiss. It's strong and passionate- I've missed his kisses so much.

He pulls away for air. "God, that was long overdue." He kisses me again, almost desperately, hungrily, and I have no choice but no kiss him back.

"Tobias..." I murmur. I pull away. "Tobias, I've missed you, I've never been able to stop thinking about you. I-" He puts a finger to my lips to silence me.

He hugs me again. "Tris, you have no idea. I have never stopped loving you. I have never loved anyone as much as you, I can't believe I let you go. You have no idea how much I've missed you. I felt like half of my heart was missing. I am so lucky to love you. I am so lucky that I've found you."

"Oh Tobias." My heart melts at his beautiful speech. "I love you."

----time warp!!-----

"Tris, what is up with you? Lately you haven't been able to stop grinning, and you keep disappearing. What's going on?" Christina asks, snapping a finger in front of me, pulling me out of my daydream- me and Tobias on the waterfront, having a good time.

"Huh, what?" I stutter. Christina rolls her eyes.

"This is exactly what I meant. You have no idea what's going on in real life, and you're constantly daydreaming, what's up?"

I smile. "I'm sorry. I can't tell you." She looks as if she's about to murder me, then tickles me mercilessly. I gasp- tickles are my only weakness.

"No! St-stop! Please!" I laugh.

"Only if you tell me!" She yells back.

"O-okay! Fine! I'll tell!"

The fountain nearby gives an extra big splash that muffles our talking as I tell her about Tobias.

"Oh, oh, oh my gosh, no way, I barely remember that world! But I remember you guys, you were so sweet together FOURTRIS FOR THE WIN!" She squeals. Well, she's a dedicated fangirl I'll give you that.

"Oh calm down!" I say, pushing her aside.

"HOW CAN I?! You have reunited with your long lost love. Finally! How can I be UNexcited?" She yells in excitement. A couple of people stare at us, but we wave them away. Nothing to see here, people. Just a girl who just told her squealing BFF about finding her long lost boyfriend.

"Well you don't have to be so public," I hiss.

"Okay, okay. But I'm celebrating this relationship," she compromises.

"NO! Tobias said we had to keep it secret."

"WHAT?! Then why the fudge did you tell me?"

"Well, let's recap. You asked me, I refused to tell, and hmm, what happened again? Oh, that's right! YOU TICKLED ME MERCILESSLY!" I yell. I begin tickling her as she desperately tries to defend herself.

"No! Please! Stop!" She pleads when I see a familiar face walking to us.

"Pst! Long lost hottie alert at 3 o'clock!" Christina hisses at me as Tobias approaches us.

"Hi Tris. Christina. I believe we met at the beach," he says, shaking hands with us.

"Hey Tobias. Yes, yes I believe we did," I say, winking.

He grins. "Well, catch you around." He gets up and walks away.

"That. Was. Epic. You guys definitely have the same chemistry you had 10 years ago," Christina gasps.

I roll my eyes. "It's not chemistry. We get each other, we love each other, we want to protect each other. We are part of each other."

She nods. "Deep."

Suddenly a figure walks to us, tall and looming. We catch a glimpse of the figure's face and gasp.

No. It couldn't be.

THE END! I love you guys for reading this story. Not many people, but still, thanks;)
