OKAY! If you're reading this, just letting you know (so there's no confusion!) that everyone's still alive, even Al, who died pretty early!
Tris' POV (obviously...)
"No way," I murmured. The figure came closer, and we- that is, Christina and I- noticed that it wasn't actually just one figure, it was a trio.
The leader removed his hood.
"Peter," I scoffed in disgust. "What bad thing did I do to have you still alive?"
He chuckled humouressly. "Ha-ha, very funny, Prior. Seriously though, what are you doing here?"
I gestured toward myself. "Me? Oh, unlike some people, I work hard to survive. And I live here."
"In the fountain?"
"No, dimwit, in this city!"
The 2 figures at the back removed their hoods too. Of course, who else would it be but Peter's posse, Molly and Drew.
"You better watch your mouth, Beatrice," Molly hissed, using my old name as somewhat a weapon. "This isn't just Chicago anymore. You think that people will tell us off if we beat you up?"
"Actually, the same goes for us," Christina replied cooly. "After all, this city doesn't belong to you."
"It doesn't belong to YOU! And I could take you any day, stick."
"In your dreams, tank," Christina shot back.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" Drew shouted.
"Why? Little Drewy like her?" I smirked.
"No, but you guys are jerks!" he said.
"Gee, I wonder where we found role models to copy from," Christina said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.
"So, Stiff, any other initiates found in the city?" Peter asked, leaning against a pillar.
I shook my head. Tobias was already a member, not an initiate. "Nope. It's a no-go. Who else was there anyway? Edward, Myra, Will and Al...that's it, right?"
He nodded. "Sure. Whatever you say. You're so much smarter than me!" he fake-gasped, rolling his eyes.
"Clear off. This is OUR space," Christina said. I glared at her. Was she purposely trying to start a fight? Well, actually, that wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact that we were outnumbered.
"You had your turn, don't be selfish," Molly smirked, looking at me. "Or has your Abnegation left you already?"
I clenched my fists. "Not much else to say, do you Molly? Every time you insult me it has to be that I am former-Abnegation. Which that even, you stole from Peter. Wow. Very inventive, Molly." I clapped my hands slowly, to make sure that the sarcasm was caught. "Very creative."
She hissed, somewhat snake-like and creepily. "Watch your mouth Stiff. You never know who's watching!" She looked behind her, and giggled. "Yeah, you be careful."
"Yeah Stiff. We all know how afraid you are of our instructor. That guy, y'know? Four. Yeah. Bet you were trembling at the prospect of meeting him again." He smirked and I got the feeling that he knew about our relationship and used the word 'trembling' on purpose, because it could be used for either fear or excitement.
"Shut it Peter, we all know that you're afraid of Lauren!" I shot back. In truth, it was something I made up on the spot.
His face reddened. "How did you know that?!"
