Chapter 4

Lance's POV

"Come on Keith. We got to get back to the castle."

"Nope. I ain't goin' till I know why I must go."

"Keith~. Come on. We'll find out when we get there."

The pale boy just shakes his head in reject.

"Don't make me come over there and pick your cute butt up." He blushes immediately, but quickly looks away not making any attempt to move.

"Alright then, you asked for this." I walk over, pick his cute butt up bridal style, and start my journey back to Blu.

Lance's POV

We stroll into the lounge; Keith behind me hiding from what judgemental eyes wait. First and only person I see is Coran with his back facing us.

"Hey! Coran!" He jumps a little but quickly gets back to normal.

"Lance! Sorry I didn't see you there. Ne- Oh, Keith has followed along as well. Though Keith why are you hi-" Coran's eyes widen in surprise as Keith steps out from behind me. "So this is the reason for you locking yourself in your room." Keith nods in agreement shyly.

"Oh yeah! Coran. Where are the others?"

"Oh! Yes! They are in the training room waiting for you and Keith. I was informed to tell you both to hurry, for it's urgent."

"Alright! We'll be on our way. Thanks Coran!" We head off to the training room.

Me and Keith walk through the sliding doors to be greeted by nobody, just darkness.

"Why are all the lights off?" Keith speaks up. "And everybody el-" He cuts himself off.

I watch as his ears twitch and his tail. 'He must sense something.' I thought it was just something playing tricks on my eyes but no, that was not the case. Keith's eyes had turned fully yellow.

"Seriously guys." He shakes his head with a small smirk. "Alright, well I'm going to my room" Keith heads towards the door.

"Wait. What?! Keith! Are they in he- AHHH!!" I jump off the ground screaming as the lights flick back on and there are horror movie characters coming after me.

(Lance A/N: I do NOT like horror movies! They are creepy, crazy, scary things that go out to find and kill you!!)

I take off running towards Keith. "KEITH!" He keeps walking like he didn't hear, but I know he did because his ears moved. 'Bastard.' I increase my speed just when he unlocks his door. I quickly bound though the doors as they close and automatically lock. 

Keith's POV 

Lance jumps behind me then quickly tucks himself away underneath my covers. I just smile and sit down next to him. "Lance you can come out now." I tell him in hopes he will. "They all left." I add softly. He peak his head out. "See. Nobody's in hear but you and myself." I smile softly but it turns into a confused frown when I see his facial expression change. "What- nevermind. I'll turn the lights on for ya." 

I stand up to head towards the light switch, but Lance grabs my wrist. "N-no, it's fine. Just, umm, couldyoulaywithme?" I smirk at the way he's getting so flustered now, but earlier on that planet, our planet, I was the flustered one. "Hmm? What was that? Could you repeat that last part for me. You said it so quickly I didn't understand what you had said." 'Complete lie but the results are to be totally worth it.'

He groans a but asks me again. "Could you lay with me? Please." I smile softly and crawl in beside him. His cheeks are flushed a dark pink-ish colour due to his skin colouring. Freckles dot across his cheeks and over the bridge of his nose. His body temperature is warm, which warms me up.  

Slowly, his ocean-like sent, warmth, and embrace lulls me to sleep.

Hey guys! I'm so so so sorry for the very long wait. A lot as been going on lately. I haven't had any creativity for writing or drawing. But apparently 9:00 in the morning while sleeping, I have an idea for this chapter. So yay!! But I was dead asleep when I woke up with the idea. Crazy right? Nope! If you're an artist (of any type) you know exactly that.
