Chapter Thirteen

-(y/n)'s P.O.V-

My eyes opened, to find myself in my room.

... Was it all a bad dream...?

"Good morning, (y/n)." I heard Lillie say.

I looked her way, to see her drawing in a sketch book.

"Morning... Wait! Why am I in control of myself!?" I asked with confusion.

Lillie giggled for a moment.

"We're free, (y/n). Your parents and my brother set us free." Lillie explained.

A smile instantly lit up on my face.

... Wow... We're actually free...

"Where are they now?" I questioned.

"They're in the kitchen, eating breakfast. They asked me if I wanted to join them, but I wanted to make sure you were okay." Lillie answered.

"Thanks." I said.

"Sure, anytime." Lillie said.

"So... Shall we go join them in the partaking of breakfast?" I questioned.

"Sure." Lillie said, before we both exited my room, and headed to the kitchen.

There, Gladion, mom, and dad were eating some (food).

"Morning, (y/n)." Mother said.

"Morning." I replied.

"You two sleep well?" Gladion asked.

... I can tell that he's still worried...

"Yep." Lillie said.

I nodded in agreement.

We then ate, with minimal talking.

... Afterwards...

"So, what's the plan?" I asked Gladion.

"Well, I don't know, to be honest." Gladion answered.

"Are you... Going to go back to Kanto?" I questioned.

"Maybe. I mean, I can't let Lillie go back alone. My mother's in jail... Someone has to take care of the family company." Gladion explained.

"I see." I said, my voice trailing off.

"I'll let you know when I know more." Gladion said, before walking away.

I frowned.

... I don't want to lose you, Gladion...

"(y/n), I have great news." Gladion said, as he approached me.

"What is it?" I questioned.

"I'm going back to Kanto." Gladion said.

"Oh, I see-"

"... And you're coming with me!" Gladion finished.

"Wait... What?!" I questioned.

"I already talked it over with your parents, and they said that it was fine." Gladion said.

"This is... This is great!" I exclaimed.

"We leave in a week. Will that give you enough time to finish everything you need to do and such?" Gladion asked.

I nodded.

"Plenty of time."

I'm sorry for such a short chapter. Especially right before the last chapter. Yep, you heard me right. The next chapter is the last chapter.
