-(y/n)'s P.O.V-
It's getting late... And I've finally gotten over my crying.
Sadly, my mother had to leave for work a while ago, leaving me alone with Gladion. Though we haven't seen each other since this morning...
.. Not that I'd want to see him...
... And yet... My heart yearns for him...
... Can I least go see him? Perhaps just say 'hi'?
And so, I entered his room, to see that the lights were off, except for his phone light.
Not wanting to hurt his eyes, I did not turn on the light.
After walking up to him, I saw that he was asleep. But, his phone was still on...
... Gladion must've just fallen asleep...
... How cute...
Curious, I looked at Gladion's phone, to see a photo that had a young boy in the picture. The boy looked like a younger version of Gladion.
... Is this him... But younger?
As I looked at the full picture, I saw a woman, young Gladion, and a little girl in the picture.
Is this his family?
I tried to look closer, but Gladion turned in his sleep, making his phone fall.
I used my quick reflexes to catch the phone, before it hit the ground.
In the process, the scree scrolled down to show a menu of chapters.
They were differently titled journal entries. Based on the dates... It seems like Gladion's had this 'phone journal' for about a year now...
... Maybe this is a clue as to why Gladion's leaving me.
And so, I opened the first entry.
I can't believe that this has happened. My sister... I had to abandon her. It had started with our attempt to escape out crazy mother's chains that bound us to her. She wasn't always so crazy, but her thirst for power completely took her over. Without our father... I was left to run away with Lillie on my own. But, our mother must've seen right through our plan, for she had cornered us in a full-proof trap. It was Lillie who had to save me. I could've saved her! But no... I let Lillie protect me, and ran off without her. I'm now on a boat headed to Alola... But one day, when I have enough money, I'll return to Kanto, and save Lillie...
I can't believe it... Gladion... It all makes sense...
I then skipped to the most recent entry.
I hate to do this; leaving (y/n). But I must save my sister. It's been over a year now. I love (y/n), and don't want to leave her, but I don't have a choice... I hope (y/n) can forgive me...
The rest was incomprehensible. That must've been when Gladion fell asleep. But now I understand. I understand why Gladion must leave, and why he ended our relationship.
I mean, who am I to tell him to not save his sister?
I then turned off Gladion's phone, and put it on his desk, before going back to my room.
That's when a brilliant idea came into my head.
Why not go with him? After all, he's going to need help!
I then rushed to my mom's room, where he was reading a book.
"Mom, I need your help!" I said.
"What is it?" Mom asked.
"I need money." I explained.
"Why? For what?" Mom asked.
"I need to go to Kanto, to help Gladion." I explained.
"(y/n)-"
"You don't understand. He didn't want to end the relationship, but he had to." I explained.
Mother was silent for a moment.
"I see. Very well, I'll purchase you a ticket. Just be safe... And call me every night!" Mother said.
"Thanks mom!" I said, before rushing to my room, to pack.
... I won't let you go alone, Gladion...
Hope you're still enjoying the story. If not, please let me know why. Feedback is very important to me! Later! =^-^=
