Not answering.
Disappointed, Sehun lowered the phone. It hadn't seemed like Namjoo wanted to talk at all. What was going on in her mind, what she felt toward him he was really curious. It couldn't be just plain friendship. Namjoo should miss him. After all, they had been lovers.
How deep were her feelings for him?
For him, not Young. He wanted her to think about just him and him alone.
If she loved him the slightest, he wouldn't care. Whether Young stood in the way or not, Sehun would love her right back.
And he was sorry he didn't know it before.
Clasping his hands together he closed his eyes. What would he say to her?
Opening his eyes, he typed in good night. He would see her tomorrow and the day after. He wouldn't stop going to her until she told him she was tired of him.

Namjoo woke up in the wee hour of the early morning. Not because Sehun was screaming in her head. Getting up she pulled on fresh clothes from her drawer and stepped out leaving behind the warmth of Young's warm body. Stepping into the kitchen she poured herself a glass of water and turned around to see the fridge. Glancing down she realized she had carried her phone out.
There was a message. From Sehun. Hours ago.
"Good night."
Closing her eyes, she sighed and leaned against the counter.
Reality was, Sehun was in Daegu. Somehow, he was here and she couldn't stop thinking about him.
She was going to have to learn how to slither her way around him.
"Why'd you wake up?" Young wondered joining her.
Namjoo peered over her shoulder as his arms wrapped around her. Settling his head on her shoulder he relaxed into her.
"Why were you crying earlier?" He asked. "You wouldn't stop."
Touching his hand, she twined her hands through his fingers. He waited a year for her. Young, who saw her sitting in the park one day feeding the ducks, had striked a conversation with her. Disinterested, Namjoo cut their conversation short and left him there. He saw her the following day in the pastry shop. Again, starting another conversation with her. Late for her work she hurried away without letting him finish talking. Then she saw him one day in front of the pastry shop with a cake waiting for her outside.
Waiting with an umbrella because it was raining and she didn't have one. And he loved her since.
"I'm all right," she lied.
Young was clueless about Sehun. He had no idea about her broken family. He didn't know Eunhui existed.
She didn't want him to know about her tainted past. Not yet. It wasn't time. She wanted it to be just them right now. The two of them in a relationship. The two of them in love and together. Wanting him just like he wanted her.
Couldn't that be enough?
"It hurts me when you're sad," he said. "Don't cry."
Stepping back, she looked up at him rejoicing in her decision to allow him into her life. It wasn't wrong to want normal. Nothing was punishable about wanting to rewind and restart.
Cupping his face, she couldn't help but feel so lucky to have crossed paths with him. Leaning up to kiss him she confessed, "I'm so lucky."
She deserved this. Him. Her. Peace. Normalcy. An easy love.
