Sehun looked at her curiously. His eyes like an innocent child's who knew not of the evil in the world.
He knew of evil...none she could have protected him from. How could he have returned to that state of innocence? Now Namjoo wanted to wrap her arms around him, keep him away from all the pain that existed.
"About Eunhui," Namjoo started, "what happened?"
"What do you mean?"
She couldn't tell whether he was being naïve or if he was lying, hiding something. She wanted to know how he knew about Eunhui's attack. Did she go to him or had something happened he did not want her to know? Four years was a long stretch of time for many things.
Could she open up that world of hurt and force him to tell her everything he possibly knew?
"She's here, in Daegu." Namjoo tucked a hand under her pillow. "There has to be a reason."
"It's a coincidence, honestly."
"Really?" Namjoo doubted. "Like you suddenly showing up?"
The lighthearted expression wilted from his face. Shifting, he turned to stare up at the darkened ceiling. Namjoo waited then turned her back to him. A few minutes ticked by and Namjoo assumed Sehun had slipped off. All she could think about again was four years ago when havoc had torn her life apart, and that was where the mysteries of present day lie.
If he didn't want to talk about it she didn't have the heart to make him.
Spooning her, Sehun breathed into her hair as his hand hugged her just underneath her breasts.
"She says she came here to look for you." Sehun admitted. "She knew I came for you, so she followed."
"Is that it?"
"That's it."
"Really?"
"Really."
Something was amiss, but she couldn't tell what. There was no valid proof that Sehun was telling her any less than he knew. Knowing Eunhui, she would lay it straight out. The attack and Sehun and the four years they spent apart. Namjoo hated it, but Eunhui definitely knew more than she did.
"I want to meet her," Namjoo decided.
"Namjoo, please," Sehun pleaded. "Just let it go."
"Tell Eunhui, I want to meet her." Namjoo removed his hand and turned around to face him, their faces just inches apart.
"What is there to know?" Sehun asked.
"There are some things I want to ask her."
"Then ask me," he urged.
"I want to hear it from her." Namjoo touched his face.
"So, I can't stop you?" Sehun asked covering her hand with his.
"I don't think so."
"I still don't think meeting her will do anything for you," Sehun opinionized.
Smiling, Namjoo hugged him and nuzzled against his neck. Supposing he couldn't tell her any more than he could, she would forgive him. After all, he had come for her.

Eunhui flipped over the paper she'd scribbled Namjoo's address on. Most surprisingly, Sehun had called. Namjoo wanted to see her. Even after she'd seen her in Sehun's apartment. It made Eunhui wonder what kind of things Namjoo wanted to know about her. What would Eunhui say to her?
