Where is My Child?!

Uchiha Household:

"Mom! Dad!" A raven-haired child who was about 9 cried out throwing the door to a study open.

"What is it Itachi?" A pretty black-haired woman said gently.

Before Itachi could respond, however, another voice spoke out. This one was sterner and caused Itachi to stiffen. "Itachi. A Shinobi shouldn't allow any panic. They must always remain calm." Itachi's dad said.

"I am aware of that father," Itachi said softly. He looked up, however, his eyes showing worry. "But... Sasuke disappeared!" He said in anguish. Try as he might he could not control his emotions when it came to his precious little brother.

"What?!" Both parents exclaimed rushing to the room and saw an empty bed where just moments ago lay a sleeping 3-year-old.

"Fugaku! How...?" The woman wailed.

"Calm down Mikoto," Fugaku said. He turned to Itachi. "How did this happen?"

"I was watching him when all of a sudden he glowed. I thought it was a genjutsu and tried to dispel it but nothing happened. And then Sasuke disappeared." Itachi said.

"Very well. I shall go report this so we can send lookouts. Send out the police force to search the area." Fugaku said to Itachi. 'This better not be an invasion! Especially only 3 days after the Hyūga Affair!' He thought as he left.

Nara Household:

"Shikaku!" A scream was heard from upstairs.

'What did I forget this time?' A man with scars thought with a sigh. "What is it, Yoshino?" He asked tiredly as he walked up the stairs.

"Shikamaru just glowed and disappeared!" Yoshino cried out.

"WHAT?!" Was the only thing Shikaku screamed out as he ran up the stairs to his 3-year-old son's room.

Hyūga Household:

"Hiashi-sama!" A man with pale eyes that seem to have no pupils exclaimed shakingly.

"What is it?" Another man with the same features spoke his tone demanding respect.

"I was watching Neji and he just glowed and disappeared I searched the area but he was nowhere near the compound." The man explained.

"WHAT?! Send a few groups to look throughout the village!" He yelled his eyes blazing with anger. "FIND NEJI!!" Hiashi shouted with narrowed eyes. 'I will not lose the only thing left of my brother especially so soon after his sacrifice.' He thought as he stormed toward the Hokage's office.

In Sunagakure:

"Sir!" Yashamaru shouted as he ran into an office.

"What is it?" The Kazekage growled as he put his pen down and pushed back a pile of paperwork.

"Gaara is gone!" Yashamaru cried out.

"What?! Send out the patrols and suit up you will lead them!" The Kazekage said. "The weapon can not disappear!" He yelled.

"Yes, sir!" Yashamaru said with a salute as he left swiftly to dress in Anbu clothes. He assembled 5 groups of 8 shinobi who were in Anbu including himself. With that, the 40 shinobi spread out to search for the One-tailed Jinchūriki.

Hokage's Office:

The Third Hokage, whose name was Hiruzen Sarutobi was smoking peacefully as he looked out the window. 'So much happened since the incident it has been a while since I have found time to myself. Maybe I should go visit Naruto.' He thought. As he stood urgent knocking was heard with a sigh he signaled an ANBU to open the door. There stood the head of the Nara clan as well as the head of the Uchiha clan and the head of the Hyūga clan. Raising an eyebrow he signaled them forward. "What seems to be the problem?" Hiruzen asked turning to Fugaku first.

"My son Sasuke who is 3 is missing. My eldest Itachi was watching him and said Sasuke glowed before disappearing." Fugaku said.

"This happened to you as well?" Hiashi said stoically though he raised an eyebrow. "The same thing happened to Neji." He elaborated seeing their quizzical expressions.

"How troublesome! It happened to Shikamaru as well." Shikaku stated rubbing his beard.

"Inu!" The Hokage barked and an Anbu appeared. "See if Naruto is here quick!" In a few moments, Hiruzen received a negative answer. "Take a squad with you Inu and take the parents and search past the gates all the way to the border. We don't want a panic due to what happened recently so be discreet." He turned to the clan heads. "Go with Inu and search since your clans are searching in the village." With those orders, the shinobi quickly left to execute them.

Hiruzen sighed as he looked out the window. 'I'm getting too old for this.' He thought as he prayed the children were simply hiding and not kidnapped.
