Once Naruto calmed down they got right to planning. "Ok, so we know we can take over our bodies... but Gaara will be in the Sand Village. How will we contact him?" Neji asked.

'If you want to make a plan take it outside! I want to sleep and you're all too noisy here!' Kurama scowled.

"Fine but do you have any ideas?" Naruto asked the fox.

'Nope.' Was the response given with an exaggerated 'puh' for the 'p'.

"Not even one?" Naruto asked exasperatedly.

'Well, I suggest staying low until the Uchiha Massacre so you can change things if you want.'  Kurama said while looking at his claws.

"That would depend if Sasuke wants to save his clan," Naruto said sternly while glaring.

'Fine, fine.'  Kurama said swishing his tails. He rolled his eyes knowing how defensive Naruto would get for the Uchiha. 'Those crystals, concentrate your chakra on them. Maybe you'll find out what they can do.'  Kurama said before waving them away.

"Got it! Well, see you soon Kurama! Get some rest." Naruto said. He instructed the others on how to 'wake up' and be in control.

'Oi kit! You'll have full control by the time you're 12 or something.' Kurama called just before Naruto left.

"So we're in control?" Neji asked as he moved his hand and looked around.

"Yup," Naruto said with a grin looking around.

"It's all still weird to me." Shikamaru yawned.

"You'll get used to it," Naruto responded.

"So anyway I think we should begin training so when we eventually take full control of our body it won't be strained," Neji stated after experimenting with his body.

"I agree with that. But we have to be careful." Gaara stated. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"So why don't you find out what the crystals are for?" Shikamaru said looking at Sasuke and Naruto.

"Ready?" Naruto asked turning to Sasuke.

"Hn." Was what he got but Naruto having been with him for a long time knew he meant yes.

Concentrating their chakra to their crystals caused the crystals to vibrate with power. A blinding white light caused them to pass out leaving their friends in a state of panic.

"Where are we?" Naruto asked when he came to. He was in his Hokage clothes and the area they were in was just a white space. He turned to Sasuke who only shrugged.

"Welcome, Sasuke and Naruto." A voice said.

"Old Sage dude!" Naruto exclaimed seeing the God of Shinobi.

"Sage of Six Paths," Sasuke said with a tilt of his head to acknowledge the being before him.

"I see you have gone back in time." The Sage said his tone fatherly yet wise.

"Did you make the crystals?" Sasuke asked tilting his head causing his hair to sway.

"In a way, yes I did." The Sage replied.

"So what do they do?" Naruto asked squinting his eyes.

"Well, it can create a link between you all so like how Kurama and Naruto can communicate you can all have that link with Gaara, Neji, and Shikamaru." The Sage explained. Naruto and Sasuke nodded their heads to show that they were listening and understood what they were being told."However, let us say you and Sasuke got separated. Since you haven't technically achieved your seals you wouldn't be able to sense each other." The Sage continued.
