So many hot, gorgeous people surrounded me. They all had blue eyes but they were still unique. All of 'Sophie's' friends came to see me. I could tell this was a dark spot in their lives.
I knew what Edaline meant by Keefe having it the worst. His eyes were puffy, dark bags under his eyes (similar to Edaline's and Grady's) crinkled shirt and a rat nest of golden hair. So many of them looked like they have just rolled out of bed or they have just been bawling their eyes out.
Then there was a snap and a scroll came out of thin air. The elves have told me so many things about their world and Sophie's adventures. Also about their problems with the Neverseen. I felt like I had the keys to finding Sophie they are just very far away.

Grady opened the scroll and read it out loud it said
Dear Grady and Edaline Rewen
We have been informed that Sophie Foster had disappeared. The council has been looking everywhere in the lost cities for her but she is no where to be found. If we cannot find her in a week we will provide a planting for Sophie. If you have seen any unusual people or things that possibly might be from the black swan, Neverseen of the Forbidden cities  we will take matters into our own hands. The council will be arriving 50 minutes after you have read this scroll to Havenfield.

The elves all looked at me. "We have to hide Percy" Dex said. The rest nodded. "But where?" Lihn asked.
Edaline sighed and said "there is a basement under this house we can hide him there. Everyone needs to stay so it wouldn't look suspicious. Except Tam and Lihn, you too made a risk coming here and if they find out, well we don't know what can happen. Here," Edaline conjured some keys and threw them at me " are the keys now you three go! Before they get here and don't tell a soul about this."

"Wait," I said "where is it?."
"In Jolie's room under the bed and under the rug there will be a trap door. Use the red key. Then you will go down the tunnel and use the blue key for the first door and lock it with the purple key now go!

Tam, Lihn, and I all bolted up the stairs to Jolie's room. We went unlocked the trap door got in then locked it. We ran down the tunnel and unlocked the door then locked it again with a different key. We all but our backs against the walls to catch our breath.

"Why were you not allowed to be seen by the council?" I asked
Tam and Lihn both shared a look then Tam started to speak up "First of all me and Lihn are twins"
"I got that." I replied
"Well in the Lost Cities they are born at the same time which can be a burden for our family. Our parents tried to tell others that I was older and we weren't twins. Then Lihn became a Hydrocynetic (spelling?) and my parent being a**holes they took Lihn down to Atlantis which see flooded it."
"It wasn't my fault" Lihn said "the water is called to me" She put her head down in shame as Tam rubbed her back.
"We always stay together so we went to Exilume (spelling?) together. We were there for so long and then she came."
"Sophie?" I asked
"No Biana" Tam answered. Lihn nudged him and he hesitated.
"And Sophie and the rest of the clan. They changed Exilume so so much. We got good food and we got to see each other's faces.
We joined the black swan blah blah blah. You have heard all of that. We are living with Tigrean and since we have been exiled we can't go to many places. We are restricted and we sometimes we feel like prisoners in our own house. People look at us like we have a disease even though w e have saved the world for them, several times."
"This world" I started to say "You would think it would be paradise but it's worse than the humans."

"We know" Lihn said "everyone is so blind. We even have to get permission to marry someone."
I could feel my jaw drop not being able to marry someone I truly love is cruel. I thought

"This a cruel world" I said with confidence.
