Her mother she so dearly loved was gone?

Why? For how long? Will she come back? Please come back. Her thoughts put Ravenkit in a gloomy, slow mood. She had been sleeping with her just the morning before where could she have gone? Ravenkit was pacing and flicking her small tail tip anxiously. She could live with out her mother, she could eat food and didn't need milk, but why would she leave? And with out a goodbye?

Ravenkit was in camp just watching everyone. They seem, careful almost cautious as if they got to close something would happen. Eventually their leader Berrystar had come put of his den. "All cats old enough to catch their prey come meet us here." Berrystar stated commandingly "And you too Ravenkit" He said in a softer but still strong voice. The clan gathered quickly and Sweetkit, Waterkit, and Smokekit were out of the den curious of what was going on with their den mate.

"As you all have noticed one of your clan mates have gone." He said pausing slightly as if to let it sink in "Whitespring has left, as she agreed two moons ago, so her kit was allowed to stay in the clan." He was speaking more to Ravenkit now looking toward her slightly. "She was mates with a cat outside of the clan, a tribe cat named Sky that falls at Dawn." Ravenkit never met her father, she never wondered who he was or where, but the name sounded...familiar... almost as if she were a dryed up stream that had recently refilled. She must have heard it somewhere.

No cats looked suprised, more sympathetic to her.

She closed her eyes willing the stinging to her eyes go back. She would not cry, not in front of all of her clan mates. She kept her eyes closed untill she heard Berrystar address the clan again. "This clan meering is over" He stated looking over the clan with a warning. Most likely for her.

When she heard them move she opened her eyes, and stood up quickly moving pass the other kits quickly she just wanted to be alone. Sweetkit looked sympathetic, Waterkit looked confused, and Smokekit looked with both a pitiful and disapproving gaze. Sweetkit said something to Waterkit, his grey-ish blue blind eyes changed to a look of curiosity and thoughtfulness.

Eventually they walked out of the den and Ravenkit looked to where a small hole that was kit sized was covered by a few twigs and moss. Her secret. She crept out of the small hole moving some of the twigs. She moved them with her small claws slightly and moved to go out of camp where she knew she wouldn't be found.
