Chapter 10- CANDY SHOP

Katelyn POV

I haven't gotten any sleep for the past few days. Is there a ghost haunting me? Pfft ghosts don't exist. /I actually do believe in ghosts but I doubt Katelyn would\ I need to get out of the house hopefully he won't follow me.
/everybody makes her go to the mall or park or maybe club but I'm gonna be different\
I decided to go to a bit of a far away candy store it's called "Finger Licking Sweetz"

My grandma took me here a lot when I was younger it's between where I live and where she lives I like how far away it is. It gives me some me time. None of my friends even know where it i-.

Is. Travis. doing here?!
Today it was supposed to be just me! And me only!
As I go closer to him I notice something. He is holding taffy and just staring at it like he is about to cry.
He doesn't really look like he normally does.
I decide to watch him out of the corner of my eye as I look around taking in the old memories. He is still for a while. Then I see a movement. Once I see his face he looks completely fine.
"Heyyyyyy Katelyn!" He cheerfully says with a slight voice crack. "Y'know if you wanted to see something sweet you coulda looked in the mirror!" He grins at me but not as big as usual, ugh why does he have to be so sad. Pfft why do I care. Well I mean he is my friend.
"Grr. I will keep my promise." He smirks and winks.
Seriously that wink was so UGH he looks so sad.Should I ask? I guess I could.

Travis POV

"So is anything wrong?" She asked out of no where. "Or do you like taffy so much it makes you want to cry?" Sh!t she saw. I used to come here with my cousin all the time, she loved taffy. I am such a mess.
"I'm good, so why do you care? At you worrying about me or something?" I asked. Doubt she was, she obviously doesn't like me too much. And as much as she is fun to Hit-- on /eheh\ I don't really want a broken mouth today.
We started walking in silence. She never answered my question. But I didn't want to repeat it. The silence felt so good I didn't want it to end. Even being next to her in silence just felt really peaceful. I closed my eyes for a little while enjoying the peace and silence but accidentally tripped. /Have fun with this "moment"\ I fell on Katelyns shoulder and she punched me in the nose. OUCHYYYYYYYYYYYY! I fell to the floor and she immediately came there and grabbed my shoulders. She pulled me a up as I rubbed my nose.
"Is it bleeding?" I panicked as I saw blood above my lip.
"I'll go get some towels and ask for an ice pack!" She ran to the bathroom.
Huh? Strange of her to care so much. Ouch it still hurts.
She comes back and presses the paper towel to my lip then she holds it to my nose. Then a young girl who works here comes with an ice pack.
"Hello I am here with your ice pack." She smiles at me. Her face a little red wonder why.
"How about I hold it to your nose?" She asks reaching out to my nose.
"Anything and everything that has you in it is great with me." I flirted for fun, at this she giggles and blushes.
"Right back at you and might I ask, How did this happen to you? I mean you look pretty strong" she touched my arm and inched a bit closer to me.
"My name is Barabara." She said. More like Boobra. Seriously she is wearing something quite inappropriate for work. She is also so close to me they are against me.
"I think we are done with this now let's go somewhere more private..." she said tossing the ice pack away as she leaned in closer and grabbed my hand. I leaned backwards so that she couldn't do what I knew she was going to do when I heard a bonk followed by a yelp. Luckily it was only us in this unpopular candy shop. I looked over at what madI the noise to see Katelyn on the floor holding her head and clenching her teeth as if trying to not cry. I was going to go help her when Barbara grabbed the sides of my head and faced my head towards her as she leaned in again. But this time I put my hand to her lips.
"Hey what was that for?" She got angry.
"I just wanted to help my fr-" she interrupted me.
"The friend that hurt you first? Not much of a friend. If I were you I'd ditch that girl for me. I'm already way out of your league but I know your way out of her league." She said angrily.
"First of all we are not together. second of all it was an accident!" Katelyn said taking deep breaths.
"Oh shut up nobody asked you!" She kicked Katelyn in the mouth.
"Let's just kiss and make up I'm sorry hun I promise it will be satisfying" she winks.
I nod my head 'no' in disgust as I grab Katelyn and her bleeding mouth out of the store and I go to a gas station, next to the candy place, and grab some medical supplies and stuff. I use it on her and once she is better it's like none of that just happened.
"See ya later alligator." I say waving goodbye and she chuckles.
"In a while crocodile. Teheh. See ya dork." She said as she walks to her car.
I go to my car humming a happy tune completely forgetting about my cousin.

Wow more than 1000 words?! That's CWAZY! I'll be leaving now.... bye oh wait btw sorry for early upload I just wanted to get a new chapter out quickly!
