The boy he loved was apparently all a figment of Seungmin's imagination. So was his family.
Seungmin, a lonely 26 year old guy, had thought he was married and had a two beautiful kids, but one day he woke up in hospital. He thought that he was brought to the hospital because he hurt himself badly when sleep walking or something. Instead his mother told him that he's been in a coma for four years.
He asked his mother about Hyunjin because he knew he existed. His mother told him that he never had a friend called Hyunjin, well not that she knows of.
She also told him other news, good and bad. Starting off with the good news, his good friends Minho and Chan got married a year ago. The bad news was that his other good friend, Jeongin, killed himself due to him falling deep into depression after a horrible incident and no one could save him, no matter how hard they tried.
Even though he was happy his friends got married, sad that he can't see his best friend because he has passed, he just wanted to cry and go back to his dreams, to go back to Hyunjin and his family.
