chapter seven•the truth

Mackenzie pov

I woke up knowing today is Monday. And we have school.

I got ready and went downstairs to see Maddie holding something.

But I couldn't see what.

"Oh hey" she says putting
something in her backpack

" hi" I said

"Kenzie" Maddie says getting closer to me. "Yeah?" I said

I didn't know what she was gonna do

"Um nothing" she said. "I'm taking you to school"

I nod

When we arrived at school everyone is looking at me. I walked and someone stop me " Mackenzie right?" This random girl asked.

I nod but at the same time I didn't want to.

" is it true your pregnant?" The girl asked.

What?! Me?

" wow wow hold up. I'm Mackenzie and no I'm not pregnant, wait and how will I be pregnant?" I asked.

Nothing happen....ohh me and Johnny had um.....

" yeah there's pictures of you and Johnny sneaking out of the party and there's one picture of y'all getting dress. So y'all had." I cut her off

"We had nothing" I told her and walked away.

I turned around and looked at Maddie.

" WHAT did you had in your hand when I came down stairs?" I asked her .

She looked at me and I hear people talking about me and Johnny.

I see him with Carson and I see a mad hayden going up to him but I ran towards them.

" Johnny!" I yelled.

He turned around and smiled.

"Johnny um can we talk in private" I told him while everyone is looking at us.

Johnny looked confused and saw everyone looking at us. "What's going on?" He asked.

And someone talked "Mackenzie is pregnant and she isn't even dating you!" This boy said.

John looked shocked

"Kenz what are they talking about?"Johnny asked me

" I don't know. I walked inside the school and everyone keeps saying that. Which I'M NOT" I yelled.

" MACKENZIE!" I hear. I turned around and see hayden sad.

" Mackenzie.. kenzie...is it truth?" Hayden said crying.

I felt tears and I didn't know what I should do. I see everyone staring. I see hayden upset.

"I..i" that's all can get out

"Yes! Me and kenzie did had it. Okay! Happy Now. We weren't drunk at all. We just did it. I can't stop my feelings for her. I love her ever since that kiss in 5 grade. I wanted to be with her but I'm sorry" Johnny says.

I stood there. Tears falling. Johnny loves Me? He loves. I smiled but I remember hayden.

I turned around and see hayden hurt. I walked towards him

" Hayden im" he cut me off with a hug

" kenzie I know you still have feelings for Johnny" hayden whispers in my ear.

I got chills. Hayden knew I liked Johnny but he liked me too.

I see pictures of me and Johnny hugging. I felt tears falling down.
