Cindy's appartement: 9.00 AM
Cindy received a weird kind of card in her mailbox. It consisted out of blood red paper, decorated with golden edges and two hearts, drawn on the left and right corner below a small text. "This is new..."
His Majesty and his son hereby invite all civilians of Lucis to the first Valentine's Day ball on the 14th of February.
All shall be expected at the Citadel at the hour of ten in the evening.
We hope to welcome you then.
Cindy's eyes slightly widened. "February 14th is tomorrow! How will I ever get a dress by then?" It then struck her that she had a chat with Holly five days ago. "Right...Holly told me 'bout an invitation...She'd arrange a dress...but I still didn't ask Prompto..."
Cindy sighed once inside her block. She and Prompto became friends since her rescue. Friends...it was a start for her, but she wanted a bit more than just friendship. Not wanting to ruin that by the other, she just accepted it for now. She sighed again and called Holly. She was already done with the dress. 'I know your size just by looking at you', she explained.
Ending that subject the two girls were thinking of a way to properly ask Prompto to the ball. Holly suddenly stopped. "Shouldn't he be asking you?" Cindy stopped thinking about ideas now too. "She's got a point..." She now just remembered in high school that it was tradition for a boy to ask a girl to prom. This was no exception...Not that Cindy ever got asked, which brought her to the reason she wanted ask Prompto to the ball. "Holls...I don't wanna end up alone again like back then...If I ask him myself, I'll at least have a bit of clarity." Holly understood. "Of course, hon. Of course." "By the way, Holls?" "Hm?" Cindy stayed quiet for a second and then continued. "I think I know how to ask him..."
