Ron’s POV:
This was the first time I have gone to the principal’s office. And what for? Breaking two noses? Yes. Beating up three students? Yes, But it was all done in self-defense. Adam was the one who had started the fight.
We are standing right in front of the principal’s desk and his glares are constantly on Adam and the other jocks. Whereas I being the first timer was being given semi-glares, I think I even saw a smile on his face but it could have been anything!
“So? Anyone here that is kind enough to explain me the fight?” Principal Robin spoke up, staring at me for answers. Which I knew I shouldn’t give as it could become a problem for all four of us!
“Well, If no one is answering the question so I should just suspend all three of you and Ron gets 2 weeks of detention as Ron you have done this the first time in your whole school career!”
After he completes what he’s saying instantly a voice filled the room, which I know who it belongs to.
“Principal Robin, Please wait!! Let me explain” Katie speaks from behind us.
“What have we here? Katie, nobody’s explaining here to me what happened, so if you would be kind enough to explain it to me!” Principal Robin asks.
“Sure. Sir, it wasn’t Ron’s fault as we were sitting at our table when Adam had approached us asking who Ron was and offered Ron and me to come and sit with him and his friends at his table. Which we both denied but he was persistent that I come to his table, but when Ron stood up for me. Adam was the first one to punch and start the fight. This shows that what Ron did was only in self-defense. And the rest you know Sir.” Katie had taken a large puff of air in after her little speech.
“So, Ron is it true? That it was done in self-defenses?”
“Yes” I spoke.
“Well in that case. Ron you get a week of detention as you had done… A little bit of damage to the others so I can’t let you leave empty handed. And as for you three, what should I do of you? You guys came here thrice in two weeks! So why don’t I just suspend you and kick you out of football team?” Principal Robin asked Adam and the other two.
“Sir, please don’t kick us out of the team! We had done a lot of training and hard work to get in!” Adam speaks up.
“Well, Then what should do then? Three times in two weeks is kind off too much. You guys are on the brink of expulsion from the school. This is the last warning for you guys to stop this stuff before I take this seriously” Principal Robin shouts at them. “Ok, you guys get 3 weeks of detention as you starting this fight! And the other punishments for you three would be told to you afterwards” Principal Robin continues.
We were dismissed by the Principal after his ranting had ended and now me Katie were headed to our literature class as the next four classes we had together. Katie is just as smart as me but is much more fashionable and beautiful then any normal nerd! She had the curves and the brains.
We had entered the class together and already there were rumors of us being together and the fight! Its kind off idiotic but the popularity is addictive but who cares? It comes and goes even when you don’t intend to have it.
The class was interesting as we were discussing about the history of Shakespeare. His writing had love carved into them, reading it makes the reader think about love, emotions and drama, but me being me as always was thinking how to get the love of my life Alexis Murphy!
After the class I headed towards my locker after taking Katie to hers, Standing there I see my worst nightmare Evangeline. I strutted towards my locker ignoring Evangeline. I had already taken the things I needed for the next class Art. I started walking away but was stopped by someone grabbing my arm; I look towards the owner of the hand and see Evangeline connected to the damn hand!
