Is Love Just Not Enough?

Chapter 1

Ron's POV:

It's the First day of my 9th grade. Let's see what the time is. I roll over to the Alarm clock beside my bed. The time is.... 7:00! Oh shit I am going to be late for the bus. I hurriedly get up from my very comfortable bed. Just as I got out of the bathroom after a deserved shower, I got ready for the school.

Wait... did I introduce myself!? What no? Sorry! OK, my name is Ron Mackerel, I am 16 and half years old and as I said earlier in 9th grade. I have good amount of friends not that rich that I can buy everything.

The day started with me missing the bus then going in my car to school, I can't take it to school it was bought to me for the less inconvenience to my parents about getting rides to here and there. So when I reached to school, I crossed over the ground towards the group of people that I call 'My Friends', I always regretted befriending them but I can't get rid of them.

“Hey, what’s going on?” I asked.

There were series of ‘Hey’ and ‘hellos’. One of my friends Xavier asked me “God, what do you eat? You are getting fatter day by day!”

Here it goes again, why they can’t know that I am not that fat but the stupid clothes I wear which I intentionally buy 1 or 2 sizes bigger makes me appear like I am fat. “It’s not my fault and dude, I don’t eat that much it’s this F**king uniform that makes me appear fat but I am not” I replied.

Katie-one of the other friend I have who is nice and kind to me for an unknown reason- speaks up “Guys, leave Ron alone. He’s not fat, it’s the rubbish filled in your head and eyes that make you see things. You guys might want to get a doctor’s appointment for that!”

I shot her a comforting and grateful smile for her help, We continued to talk about the upcoming exams and the events like the one of the most famous jocks party his name is Joshua kind of old style but who cares now I days.

We were going over what to do when I heard this most angelic and innocent voice I had ever heard, I turned around to see the most beautiful girl on the Earth herself standing in front of me. It was like a magical moment for the few seconds I could live up to it, her name was like sweetness rolling of my tongue.

“Alex” I whispered.

She turned and started looking around looking who said her name, I could have promised it I had said her name in a whisper, I think I just fell in love with her hahahahaha Like that could ever happen I am the loner of the school. I never had a girlfriend and never would have any. I still remember what one of the girls in my school said that statement I would never forget until death it may go.

“You, don’t have any standard to think you could get a girl to like you. You need standard to get a girl and you should stuff it in your little brain you got in the big head of your that You Won’t Get A Girl Ever!! You are a loser and you are going to be a loser forever!” Said the girl from my nightmares Evangeline.

And the reason she said that horrible statement was because a girl, I had informed her of the back-biting Evangeline did. I had been friends with the girl, but when she confronted Evangeline and knowing Evangeline and her persuasive skills both girls turned towards me with fake and untrue vengeance!

I check my schedule that I received from the office it was like

First- AP Chemistry

Second- AP Math’s

Lunch

Third- Literature

Fourth- Art

Fifth- AP Physics
