Late last summer, my life became a tragedy. My father had gotten a new job, which meant we had to leave our home in NYC to move to a small in North Carolina named Aquadale. The only plus to this was being able to leave the school behind, where i was seen as a weird whacked out nerd.

Okay, so maybe i had a thing with comic books and regular books. And maybe i had the action figures. And maybe i went to every single one of those movie adaptions. But that did not make me whacked out. Just a little fangirl, maybe.

"You'll love it there!" My mom tried to console me. I really wouldn't miss this place that much, but i guess she would. She was trying to put her feelings through me, tell me it was gonna be alright so that she would start believing it too.

"I know." I would reply with an awkward tone. Her arms would just hold me tighter. Eventually she had to let go though. Because i had to pack, and had to say good bye to the few friends i had. I obviously started with the packing first though.

"Okay," I told myself. "Shorts on the right side. Pants on the left." I was trying to get some kind of organization to my packing, but so far it wasn't working out. I had my t-shirts in one corner and my socks in the other.

"Ugh!" i complained and balled up the rest of my clothes and threw them into the suitcase, not caring where is what anymore. (As you can tell, when i try to be organized, it gets confusing.) With the clothes inside my suitcase i faced another problem, closing it. I was about to scream in anger when i remembered something. My brothers room is just across the hallway.

"Hey." i say when i pop my head in through his doorframe. "Want to help me on something?" He considers it for a second,

"Why should i help my 14 year old sister?" He says aloud, but not directly to me. "I mean i am only 10 and in desperate need of cash..." he trails off.  I roll my eyes.

"I'll let you borrow my comic books." I say. He nods his head.

"Okay. What do you need?"

"How much do you weigh?" I ask suspiciouly.

"About 80 pounds."

"Perfect.."

And with that we go to my room and i make him sit on my suitcase. Of course, he tried yo get out of it. So, i had to rope him with one of my belts.

"Sit!" I told him. He was wrapped in a pink belt I found in my suitcase and i was holding the end of it. My dad had walked by earlier and asked about the belt wrapped around Gale.

"I wanted to see it it still fits. And his body is bigger then my waist, so i thought it would be a good way to check."  I had replied and refuse to answer anymore questions. My dad must have been really stressed out if he didn't do anything.

I bring my attention back to my little brother Gale,

"Are you gonna sit? Or am i gonna have to make you?" I say, trying to sound intimidating. He back onto the case and i seal it shut. When he hears the final zip he jumps back up and i unleash him.

"Take your pick." I say motioning towrds my pile of comic books. He grabs a Captain America one-my favorite- and prances out of my room.

"Little punk..." I say to myself as he walks out the room. He always takes my favorite!
