So, moving day arrived a bit all too quickly. It took me a while to comprehend everything happening around me.
Mom letting a few tears slip, my brother actually slipping. And my dad. My dad sitting on the phone arguing with his boss that the truck to take our stuff was supposed to be here 2 hours ago. Then there was me, reading a book on the floor.
"Did you say bye to your friends?" My mom asked me. I shrugged. I had said bye to them, it just wasn;t the way you would have pictured it.
Me: Hey. Im moving to North Carolina, so i just wanted to say bye and thank you for being my friend.
Them: Who is this?
Me: Rachel. Rachel kings. YOUR BEST FRIEND!
Them: Oh yeah! Well, um, you will be missed.
Me: Thank You. You know i'm, actually-
Them: *empty phone line*

A few hours later, the moving van arrives. It's men carries our boxes and plastic covered furniture into the van. I look at the house one last time. 3 floors of nothing but wood really. It's gonna be interesting to leave.
