I'll try to update this the most i can, i have just been busy lately.
The drive to Aquadale, North Carolina was long and frustrating. Especially with my little brother singing along to whatever i decided to put on the radio. Someone needed to drive the car, and my mom said that she was more comfortable driving that instead of the large moving truck.
"You know that Aquadale is famour for their-" My dad starts but i put my head phones and pull out one of my comic books. I could still see him talking, so i nodded along. Apparently i could only fool him for so long.
"Hey!" He yelled as he pulled out one of my ear plugs, "Your supposed to be listening." He laughs.
"I was!" I retort. He snorts and doesn't go on talking.
After hours pass, and night grows, we were still on the road. I look out the window at the trees surrounding the highway. They look so creepy at night, as if something is hidden in them. When i try to tell my dad this he responds,
"Youv'e been reading way too many comic books!" And he just laughs it off. I turn the radio on and an odd song starts to play
On my own. Surrounded my dark.
Let the moon turn red and dark.
My dad see's the horrified look on my face and begins to laugh his head off. I of course don't find it funny and change the station frantically. I have always been kind of supersistious of these things. It might also be the fact that i started watching Supernatural last night on Netflix. It was my way of saying goodbye to my bed. It was a very nice ceremony, i stayed up half the night for it too! My bed should be thankful.
After sitting there for an hour watching everything go by, i finally let my self fall asleep.
