"No!" Niall whined, causing me to laugh.
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Niall," I began.
"No!"
"Niall, I have to go!" I laughed, trying to pull my shirt back from him. It was already eight at night and I needed to go home. Niall was nice enough to wake up early, put my clothes in the dryer, and spend time with me. The thing was, when I had to go, Niall refused to allow it. I was already in my clothes. I only needed my shoes and my shirt. Niall hid my shoes on top the refrigerator, hoping I wouldn't be able to find them or reach them. I had to climb up the counter top so I could get my shoes back. Now, Niall was sitting down on my shirt.
Niall smirked at me, "You do realize that I have to drive you home right?"
I rolled my eyes, "I could walk."
"Like I would let you do that," Niall scoffed, continuing to watch soccer.
"I could ask Liam or Louis."
"You don't want to risk that going back to Harry now, do you?
My eyes narrowed at him. I sat down on his lap. "I need to go or else Harry would go on a search party for me. I don't want to go, but I have to."
Niall groaned and gave me my shirt. "Can you come back after you go?"
I rolled my eyes, "I might as well stay if I was going to do that."
"Good! So you're staying!"
"Niall!"
"Fine," he groaned and grabbed his keys. As he got ready to leave, his cellphone started to ring. I rolled my eyes as he walked away to go answer the call. When he got back, his face seemed stressed and his features were hardened.
"Are you okay?" I asked him as we drove back to my apartment.
He nodded, "Yeah, I'm just mad that they had to call me in for work again."
"Seriously, you are practically the only person that works there," I laughed. "I don't get why they just can't call other people to do the task."
"It's because I'm the best," Niall said proudly.
I giggled and looked out the window. "The car ride back home seemed so shorter."
"Yeah, it did. Let's go around the block."
I rolled my eyes, "Niall."
"I'm only kidding. I'm not kidding about this though," Niall kissed me on the lips. "I'll see you later."
"Okay," I smiled. I walked towards my apartment and unlocked the door, but stopped. The door was unlocked. I rolled my eyes and waved by to Niall before I walked in. Mercedes always forgot to lock the door at least two times a month. I guess this was the last time this month. I walked over to my bedroom and slipped on some cotton shorts and a black tank top as I called Mercedes.
"Hello?"
"Hey," I said. "You left the door unlocked again."
"I did? I could've sworn I locked it. Where were you last night?"
"I worked late last night and I woke up early for some reason. I decided to go shopping for a little bit."
"Did you get anything?"
"Nope," I sighed. "I couldn't find anything with my taste."
"How couldn't you? You always wear black."
