Camila was absolutely glowing. Lauren likes to think it's because she and the brunette had been getting along so well. And that may be one of the reasons why, but there was no doubt that the pregnancy was the main reason Camila was so happy. Whereas she would previously sulk about having to put her career on hold, and having to live with Lauren, now the brunette would spend her days planning what life would be like for them once the baby arrived.

"Did you make the appointment?"

Lauren nodded in response to Camila's question. The brunette was buzzing around the living room getting everything in order for a very important visit to the doctor to find out the sex of their baby. Lauren had preferred to just wait until their child was born to figure that out, mostly because she didn't think it mattered. She was never one to label anything. Camila was the one who insisted on finding out because she was so impatient.

A dreamy sigh fell from Lauren's lips as she rested her chin on her hand that was propped up on the kitchen island. Her eyes darted around, following Camila's movements. After several minutes the shorter girl joined her in the kitchen and started talking about all the questions she had for their doctor. If Lauren were completely honest she wasn't paying much attention to what the brunette was saying. She was more focused on the way Camila's tank top, being too small for her at this point, rode up and exposed her belly in fully. The way some tendrils of hair fell over sparkling brown eyes as the shorter girl excitedly made her points by emphasizing with hand gestures.

Green eyes fell on soft looking lips. Lips that moved quickly as the shorter girl continued to talk Lauren's ear off. Oh how Lauren wished she could kiss those lips again. The last time she'd done so was the night she and Camila conceived of their child. It's been way overdue, Lauren thought. And as pink lips would occasionally quirk up into a smile, the raven haired girl had to restrain herself from lunging forward and claiming them as her own.

"We should have Mani and Ally over too."

Again Lauren nodded against her palm, feeling completely and utterly incapable of denying the brunette anything. It was as if she were under some kind of a spell. Because she was so distracted by her desires to kiss Camila, she failed to notice that a pair of brown eyes were looking at her curiously. Snapping fingers finally snapped her out of her state.

"Yeah, sure that sounds great." Lauren said quickly. She'd failed to realize that Camila had long since passed talking about inviting their friends over. Instead the brunette had asked whether or not Lauren would be due for a meeting at work any time soon.

"You weren't listening to a word I was saying were you?" Camila grumbled. Lauren noticed the way her bottom lip jutted out slightly and she had to bite down on her own bottom lip to keep from voicing just how adorable the brunette looked while pouting.

"Of course I was."

"Okay." Camila hopped off the stool where she was sitting and stood in front of Lauren. With her hands on her hips and eyebrow quirked she looked into green eyes. "What did I just say?"

"Um, something about the baby?" Lauren offered lamely. She knew she'd been caught not paying attention.

"Thought so." A triumphant grin spread across Camila's face as she was able to prove she was right.

Without meaning to Lauren reached forward and brushed brown locks behind the shorter girl's ear. The action, although innocent enough, caused the raven haired girl's heart to beat erratically. Camila wasn't fairing any better. She likened the feeling in her chest to that of taking the first sip of a cup of hot cocoa. Sweet. Warm. Like she could finally relax because she was home.

"I really hope our baby has your eyes." Lauren's voice cut through the comfortable silence that had taken over. She gazed intensely into brown orbs hoping to convey what she'd just said.
