Noise could be heard all throughout the apartment. The chatter of three overly excited women could be heard from the main bedroom, while the rest of the space was flooded by the sound of some Salsa being played in the background. Lauren's brother and father, Chris and Michael, groaned as they struggled to move a couch into the space of the living room. Taylor, Lauren's sister, noisily organized the many pots, pans, and dishes in the kitchen as she hummed along to the music booming from the living room dock. Lauren stood by her father and pointed to the spot where she wanted the couch to be placed.

"Oh my god! You've got to be kidding me!" Camila's voice, followed by laughter, could be heard from the main bedroom again.

"Why aren't you helping us move anything?" Chris whined to his older sister when he and his father finally let go of the heavy couch.

"Because I'm in charge of telling you where everything goes," Lauren answered with a grin. Her brother rolled his eyes, but nodded and walked out of the apartment door to head downstairs and bring up some boxes from the truck parked in front of the building.

"This looks better than I expected it to," Michael commented. He smiled and walked over to his oldest daughter and draped an arm around her shoulder. Pride dripping from his face he expelled a deep breath.

"Yeah it's perfect," Lauren agreed happily.

The day after Lauren and Camila's unruly day with the brunette's parents, Lauren had called her own parents. Alejandro had brought up some good points about how prepared they were for their baby. Realistically, Lauren knew that they wouldn't be able to live in her one bedroom apartment much longer; she just hadn't really taken any initiative in finding a larger place to live. Camila had reassured the green eyed girl that they didn't need to rush moving out, but Lauren was set on finding a new place as soon as possible.

Reading pregnancy books had become a hobby of Lauren's and she knew that this final stretch of months would be the most tiring and taxing for Camila. The last thing she wanted was to stress the brunette out with moving later on when she was closer to her due date.

Funds were a major issue when deciding what to do and where to start looking for a new apartment. Especially considering just how pricey apartments can be in New York City. That was why Lauren had contacted her parents. She needed some help and who better to help her than two of the most financially responsible people she knows.

Clara, Lauren's mom, had immediately asked the green eyed girl if she had any savings that might help. Lauren did have a decent amount of money saved up, but not enough that she felt confident about moving out. There was always the chance of running into an emergency and Lauren didn't want to risk not having the ability to deal with it once the baby arrived. Mike agreed that it wouldn't be smart to move with just the money from her savings and bi-weekly paychecks. The three considered loans, with Lauren's parents being cosigners, but Camila had quickly said no to that idea. She didn't want to burden the Jauregui's, and Lauren had declined that idea from her parents. They suggested waiting until Camila was able to start working again to move. Camila was on board with this idea, but Lauren wasn't. So, again, they decided no on that.

It was Taylor's acceptance letter to a specialty college he had applied, that gave Mike and Clara an idea that all parties were fond of. The Jauregui's had a fund that they'd started years ago to help their children attend college. Luckily, Lauren was able to go to school on academic scholarships and grants. Chris wasn't so lucky, and her parents ended up helping to pay for his studies; however, Taylor had also been offered several scholarships for the second half of her studies. This mean that the Jauregui's had some money left from that college fund they'd started so many years ago.
