"Oh my God, will you guys stop being so cute? It's nauseating."

A series of laughter resonated in the small living room. Dinah playfully grimaced as she watched Lauren and Camila take up the entire couch across from her. Camila's head was propped up on slender legs as the raven haired girl did her best to rub soothing circles on her pregnant counterpart's back. Ally and Normani watched on from their spot in front of the coffee table. They hadn't commented on the closeness their two friends were displaying, but Dinah was always quick to make a remark or two.

"Leave them alone, Dinah," Ally said through her smile.

"That feels great," Camila mumbled happily while Lauren's hands kneaded a particularly tense part of her shoulder blades.

"Yeah, you're just jealous cause Camz isn't all over you anymore." Dinah scoffed in response to Lauren.

"That and she's grumpy because Mani won't talk to her for forgetting their one month anniversary," Camila mumbled again. A sigh escaped her lips when a soft hand moved from her back to rub at her ever-growing belly.

"One month! I didn't know you'd want to celebrate it." Normani smirked and shrugged her shoulders as her blonde girlfriend tried to reason with her.

"Troy bought me a bouquet and my favorite chocolate for our first month," Ally gushed.

"Not helping shawty."

Through the banter and chatter going on between her friends, Lauren's eyes remained solely on Camila. As of lately the shorter girl had been in a tremendous amount of pains and aches all due to her body adjusting to her pregnancy. Being so protective over Camila, the raven haired girl immediately sought to help make her as comfortable as possible.

On a particularly late night, three A.M. a week ago, Camila had wanted the strangest combination of snack foods ever. She'd woken Lauren up in a hurry as soon as she'd started having the craving. As expected Lauren mumbled and grumbled while tossing around in bed refusing to wake up. That was of course until Camila had voiced just why she'd woken the raven haired girl up in the first place. Lauren had gotten up quickly. Going to the nearest Rite Aid and gathering the four items that Camila had so sweetly asked her for.

The minute she'd returned to the small apartment, the brown haired girl wasted no time preparing her snack. Bowl. Diced bananas. Pickles. Pretzels. Peanut Butter. It was the perfect combination of flavor and texture, Camila explained. Lauren had very quickly disagreed by making a point that ice cream and bananas would've been a better treat. Something she regretted instantly when she found herself walking back to the store to buy Camila some vanilla ice cream.

Just a few days ago Lauren hadn't been able to deny Camila yet again. She'd been working on a project that had been long overdue. The brunette had walked into their living room groaning about being bored out of her mind. It'd been so long since the Camila had gone anywhere but the grocery store with Lauren; Dinah had hardly been visiting ever since she and Normani started dating. The shorter girl felt she was losing her mind locked up in the small apartment all day, every day. Lauren didn't have the heart to tell her that she was supposed to have what she was working on due within a couple of hours. So, she'd pushed her project aside.

Her boss talked her ear off for a good half hour during their meeting the next day. Luckily for her she'd been incredibly reliable as of yet, and was let off with nothing but a warning. A warning that didn't faze the older girl. Not at all. Not when she remembers embracing Camila at the top of the Empire State Building that night. Her arms wrapped around the shorter girl's midsection while they gazed down at the booming city below them. And especially not when she can still feel the way their little boy kicked underneath their joined hands.
