seungmin turned his phone off and placed it in front of him. he lifted his glass of chocolate and vanilla smoothie and sipped it.

he knew that hyunjin would arrive late, very late, so he ordered something. he doesn't like to bore himself by staring on that phone while waiting for hyunjin.

seungmin's vacation in daegu isn't bad so far. he has visited many places and enjoyed every visit.

he missed his parents a lot and spending time with them made him feel like the happiest person on earth.

after twenty minutes of sipping his smoothie and daydreaming about both day6 and hyunjin, he heard a slurp. he looked at his glass and saw that it was empty.

"don't worry, i'll order you a new one." someone said as he pulled the chair in front of seungmin and sat there.

it was hyunjin obviously.

"you took so long. i bet your future girlfriend will break up with you because you're always late. but will you have a girlfriend?"

"nope, because i will have a boyfriend."

hyunjin smirked. seungmin just stared at hyunjin, still holding his empty glass.

"should we order something?" hyunjin asked.

"i dunno. i feel full."

"you literally finished up that large smoothie."

"what? i know you're a slow snail and you'll be late. i don't like to bore myself with my phone."

"i'm sorry, okay? but you won't order anything?"

"unless you pay for it." seungmin laughed as he took the menu from hyunjin. "i'll have what you have. i'm too lazy to chose."

"eh? just say you want us to be couple goals."

"are we even a couple?" seungmin laughed again as he raised his eyebrow.

hyunjin just stayed silent. seungmin placed down his empty glass and gave hyunjin the menu.

"i'm gonna get ramen."

"i ate ramen for lunch but okay."

"are you sure it's okay?"

"yeah."

"i know that tone."

"huh?"

"i'll buy you another smoothie."

"hyunjin, you--"

"waiter, i'll have two bowls of ramen, a small mango shake and a large chocolate and vanilla smoothie."

the waiter nodded as he listed down what hyunjin said then left. hyunjin smiled at seungmin.

"seriously, you didn't have to. you've spent a lot of money on me since we've met."

"i wouldn't say it's wasting my money anyway. stop worrying." hyunjin laughed.

the both of them talked about stuff like the places in daegu that seungmin already visited and the daegu food he tasted.

after a few minutes, the orders arrived. the waiter placed the food in front of them. they both thanked the waiter before he left and they started to eat.

when they were done eating, they decided to walk around the city. since there was still a lot of smoothie left on seungmin's glass, he decided to transfer it to a plastic glass for take out.

it wasn't hyunjin's first time in daegu and he was very familiar with the place. meanwhile, it was seungmin's first time. gladly he had hyunjin with him as a tour guide.

"where are we going? it's almost sundown."

"i know, that's why we're going to the park. the sunset is beautiful from the view there."

hyunjin held seungmin's wrist as they walked. but it didn't stop there. hyunjin slipped his hand into seungmin's, making it intertwine each other's hand.

seungmin almost choked on his smoothie. hyunjin saw it and laughed silently. seungmin's heart started to beat faster. sweat was running down his face.

hyunjin looked at him and saw his sweat. he took out his handkerchief and wiped it off seungmin's face.

"h-hyunjin, you didn't have to use your handkerchief. i have mine."

"tell me, is this the first time that someone held you hand?"

"aside from my family, well, y-yes."

after a few more minutes of walking, they both arrived at their destination, the park. the took a seat on the bench and watched the sun as it set down.

seungmin was too focused on the sun setting as if it was his first time seeing the sundown. hyunjin, on the other hand, stared at seungmin like he was looking at a surreal painting.

the sun's fading sunlight casted shadows on seungmin's face. hyunjin stared at every part of seungmin's face; his nose, his eyes, his lips.

until seungmin turned his head to look at hyunjin.

"h-hyunjin?"

"o-oh, i-i--"

"the sunset was beautiful, thanks."

"y-you're welcome. but do you know what's beautiful?"

"you." the both of them said in together then laughed.

seungmin was about to hit hyunjin's arm but hyunjin immediately took seungmin's hand and held it tightly.

the both of them just stared into each other's eyes. they both held each other's hand tighter. hyunjin moved closer to seungmin and he caressed his left cheek.

"to be honest, if i didn't met you, my life would be the most boring life ever. and i would be the saddest person on earth."

"don't say that. you could've met someone better than me."

"too bad nobody's better than you."

hyunjin leaned closer to seungmin as he closed his eyes. seungmin did the same. then they felt each other's lips.

"seungmin.." hyunjin said as he broke the kiss. "will you be my boyfriend?"

seungmin's eyes widened and it became teary. he smiled widely as he nodded and said "yes".

hyunjin smiled and hugged seungmin. the both of them never thought they'd end up like this.
