Veronica pov

I see Archie.. he's wearing hand-cuffs. This can't be true. No it can't. It just can't. I push pass the police and run up to him. I hear them shouting at me to get back but I just ignore them. "Archie" I say. He looks up. In his eyes I can see that he's sad and hurt. "Ronnie.." he says. Two police men come up and try to push me back but I keep fighting back. "ARCHIE" I scream. He knocks out one of the police with both of his hands together. We're trying to get to each other but they keep holding us back. "Veronica I want you to know that I will always love you! No matter what!" he says trying to push past the police but is struggling. The manage to push him into the car "Sir get in the car!" a police says "VERONICA." he screams "ARCHIE." I scream back "PLEASE LET HIM GO!" I shout. They grab me and hold me still so I can't fight back. As they get Archie into the car they drive off and all I can hear is the sirens. "Please.. come back." I say to myself. I start to crying.

I manage to get back home. "Hey mija. I'm sorry for what happened." said Mom "I just don't know what happened.." I say still in shock. "It's okay you will see him again." she says and gives me a hug. "Oh and we have to have dinner at the Andrews today. They want to talk about what happened." she says. I just nod.

Dinner at the Andrews

It was a quiet dinner until daddy decided to bring Archie up. "I'm so sorry to hear what Archie did." he says. "It Just isn't Archie. He would never smuggle in drugs. We wouldn't even go near drugs!" said Fred. "Wait what? How come know one told me?" I say "Wait no one told you?" asked Fred. I shake my head. "Oh.." he says. "I just can't imagine a day like this was going to come." I say. "Well Archie was a bit.. you know.. physco when the blackhood shot Fred." says Daddy "That's because he was protecting the town Daddy!!" I say getting quite angry. "Honestly I'm not really that surprised." he says again. "THAT IS IT!" I shout slamming fork back on the table "ARCHIE WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!! I KNOW HIM." I shout. I get up from the table and run back to his room. I lie down on his bed and fiddle with one of his sweaters. I start to cry myself to sleep.

1 day later.

Archie pov

The last thing I remember was being pushed into a car and turning back to see Veronica crying. I feel so guilty she probably thinks I'm such a bad person. I slide down the wall and sit on the ground. I look up at the window near the ceiling with the sunlight shining through. A guard walks pass checking up on us. "Please! You have to tell them I didn't do it!! I swear." I say standing up. "That's what they all say." says the guard. I kick the wall and sit on the bed. I don't think I'm ever getting out of here. Another guard comes in and starts to unlock my cell. "Am I getting out?" I say "No you just have a visitor" he says. "Who?" I ask "A young lady with dark hair. She seems very worried and said "I have to see him NOW!" he says. He takes me out into a room and I see her sitting behind a glass wall. "Ronnie I'm so glad you're here." I say into the telephone "Me too. I'm so happy to see you're face. I don't think I can go another day without seeing you." she says. "I miss you so much. Even more than my dad. But don't tell him that." I say. She smiles but it quickly fades. "Look Ronnie.. I don't even know why I'm here. I shouldn't even be here!" I say. "I know" she says "You do?" I reply "You're Archie Andrews. You'd never do something like this." she says "So how did this even start anyway?" she says. "It's a long story." I say "I honestly don't care how long you talk as long as we are together." she says. I smile back at her. I just want to hold her in my arms so badly. "It started when I was walking home from basketball training. And all of a sudden these police tackled me to the ground and hand-cuffed me. I was so confused I didn't know what was going on. They then say I'm under arrest for smuggling drugs into Riverdale. When I absolutely knew I didn't. I've been framed." I say. "But who would do such a thing?" she says "I don't know.. but whoever it is they sure do hate me." I say. "Anyways when I came out of the station and saw you I felt so sad that you saw me like this. I thought that you would hate me and break up with me." I say. She starts getting teary. "Archiekins I would never leave you." she says "I love you so much that I can't even survive a day without you." she says "Ronnie I would kiss you if this god damn wall wasn't in between us." I say. She laughs.

We talked for over 2 hours and sometimes we just stared at each other admiring the view in front of us. "Well I better start going my mom is probably worried." she says "Do you have to?" I say. "Unfortunately yes. And you have to get back to your cell anyway." she says and pauses for a moment. "Wow. I never thought I'd had to say that." she says. "I love you" I say "I love you too" she says and blows a kiss. Then she disappeared and I had to go to my cell.

2 days later

Archie pov
I was lying on the very uncomfortable bed staring at the ceiling. Veronica hadn't come by in two days because she was studying for a major test. But I understand because she really wants to get into Harvard. I still miss her so much ever since I got here I felt like the world was moving on without me and I was so behind. "Archibald Andrews I have some great News!" says a guard. I sit up straight away "You're free to go" he says "What? Really? How?" I ask "Turns out you were framed." he says "Well I knew that. But no one believed me." I say "Anyway we found the guy who smuggled the drugs and he is going to prison for 4 years." he says "Who was it?" I ask "Some guy named Reggie Mantle." he says. "No surprise there." I say. he starts to unlock my cell "I'll give you You're Clothes back." he says and walks off "Wait!" I say. He turns around "Can you call my girlfriend and tell her to wait for me outside." I ask "Sure thing." he says.

Veronica pov
I'm in my bedroom studying and I get a phone call. (Veronica is bold and the guard is italic)

"Hello?"

"Hi is this Veronica Lodge?"

"Yes it is."

"You're boyfriend has been set free and he wants you to wait for him outside the prison"

Before he could say anything else I hung up and ran out of my room. "Veronica where are you going?" says my mom. "I'll be back soon." I say and run out the door. When I arrive at the prison I wait outside nervously. I know it's only been two days but I miss him so much. I see the doors start opening and Archie appears. Without saying anything I run up to him and he picks me up. We hugged for a while until he finally said something "Ronnie I'm so glad to see you." he says still hugging me "I am too. If feels good being in your arms again." I say. "I love you so much. I'll never leave you again." he says. "I know you won't." I say and cups his face "I love you." I say. I start kissing him and we make out softly.
For the whole week I was clinging on to him making sure he was never out of my reach.
