Chapter 2

Oh My gosh thanks so much for 70 reads! I guess people sorta like this! So heres the next chapter :)

Percy slumped against the walls of the elevator with tears threatening to spill out his eyes. Annabeth. HIs Annie had stayed behind in Tarturus so they could seal the Doors of Death permanently. Her oath to Chiron years ago had been to protect Percy. He let the tears spill, he had loved Annabeth truly but his biggest regret was that he had only loved her as a sister. They had both noticed the change in thier relationship, after the Titan War they had been happy for a little while until they realized... Neither of them really wanted to makeout or do anything with each other of that sort. But they had still loved each other so they stayed together. There was nothing Percy could do that wouldve changed Annabeths mind to stay behind. Her last words to him had been "Percy to close the Doors you need someone to stay behind. even if we close them now and both go back, we will have to sacrifice someone eventually. I am already down here and I swore to protect you. I love you Percy and I'm sorry that I'm leaving you but I think we both know we didnt have that spark in our relationship. I'll miss you." and with that the elevator doors had closed. Percy closed his eyes, the pressure in the elevator was never made for mortals. He felt himself go unconscious.
