Nico couldn't sleep. He was exhausted, his eyes dark with purple circles, all he wanted was a decent nights sleep but he couldn't stop thinking of 'it'. Tartarus.
Everyone he closed his eyes he saw images of the blood red sky and monsters being reborn still oozing with the goo that gave them their new life. He saw the darkness of Night. Nico sighed, it would obviously be another sleepless night. He went up to the mast, it had a place to sit. He didn't know why it did, no one else seemed to know or care about it. It was a good place to come and be alone and think. Nico put in his headphones and turned his music to shuffle. Teenage Dream by Katy Perry came on, really? He was in this dark of a mood and this song came on? But yes, the dark mysterious and slightly intimidating Ghost King did like Katy Perry. He quietly hummed along thinking suddenly of Jason... Wait what? "That's weird" he thought "since when have I thought Jason was anything but a nosy blonde superman?" Jason had really been getting on Nico's nerves since the whole Cupid thing.... Jason kept shooting him pitying looks when he thought Nico wasn't looking. Nico didn't want his pity, he didn't want him to know period. It hadn't been his idea to come out to Jason but then again when had things ever gone his way? Nico wondered when he had gotten so bitter, but he knew the answer. A part of him, a big part, had died with Bianca. A few tears rolled down his cheeks. He spotted Jason on the deck, "please don't notice me" he thought. But of course that was too much to hope for. Jason's gaze floated to Nico and seeing the tears he started the descent up the mast. " Great" Nico thought sarcastically "blonde superman is here to save the day"
So there you go!! I'll be updating soon! So it's 11:40 at night... Maybe I should try to sleep instead of writing fanfiction
