Part Seven.

Jess' POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone going off, which annoyed me slightly, but who knows, on the off chance it could be Kellin. I knew that was highly unlikely though.

-just keeping you updated, Kellin's moved in to his house, but unfortunately not much else has changed. I'm sorry, but we should hang out soon?

It was from Vic, and hanging out with someone that wasn't my brother seemed like a good idea.

-thanks for letting me know. Yeah we should, it would be good to hang out.

-are you busy today?

-not that I know of

-okay, I'll pick you up at 12?

-sure, see you then Vic

I put my phone down and went down to the bathroom so I could shower and get ready for what I'm hoping would be an eventful day.

Once I was out of the shower, something clicked in my head; Vic didn't know I was here, he thinks I'm still with Oli, although he didn't know that it was him, because he probably would have murdered him.

-just remembered you don't know where I am, I'm at my place now if you still remember where that is

-yeah, of course. I'll pick you up from there then

-okay, thanks Vic.

I sighed contently before finding what I would wear. Once I was dressed and had done my hair and makeup, I went downstairs to where my family were sat around. "Just so you know I'm going out at 12" I smiled. "With who?" my mum asked. "My friend, Vic. He's coming to collect me." "Okay, just be careful okay?" I nodded and smiled before I rushed back upstairs.

It wasn't long until Vic text me, letting me know he was outside. "I'll be back soon guys" I smiled lightly. "Be safe!" my mum called out. I didn't answer, but as I reached the front door, I felt a hand on my shoulder which turned me around, which was when I looked up to see my brother. "You'll call if you need me, yeah?" I nodded and somewhat flashed him a smile. "Good. I love you Jess. Stay safe, okay." "Okay. I love you too Ethan, thanks." He quickly pulled me in for a hug before I stepped outside, instantly laying eyes on Vics car. He wasn't inside like I thought he would be, but he was sat on the front of it, staring down at his phone like it were the most fascinating thing in the world. As I began approaching him, he looked up and gave me a smile before pushing himself off of his car. "Hey Jess. How're you today?" "I'm good thanks Vic, how're you?" He nodded before opening the passenger door for me, which I climbed into rather quickly before he shut it and climbed in the other side.

He ended up stopping outside a small cafe that looked rather empty as he slowly parked in the small, somewhat empty car park. "So, I know this may sound harsh, but I don't care what you say, you're eating something because I know for certain you weren't eating when, well, you know" he said softly with a hint of sadness. "Okay, yeah. For the record I'm trying to become more like my normal self. There's no point in wallowing in self pity when it's just making things worse. I just hope things do go back to normal soon because its hard, you know?" I laughed nervously. He nodded and flashed a warm smile before we climbed out of his car and headed inside.

Kellin's POV

I woke up to someone banging on my door, and that just made me somewhat frustrated. I looked over at the clock to see that it was almost midday, so at least I had a decent amount of sleep. "Alright, I'm coming!" I yelled as I groggily threw my legs over the side of my bed. Before I had even reached the door, I tripped over a box that was very inconveniently placed; who the fuck put it there anyway? Either way I went to the door and opened it, revealing a smiling Jesse and Justin. "Dude, have you only just woken up?" Jesse teased, giving me a humorous and questioning stare. "Yeah, but in all fairness, I needed it after the lack of decent sleep from that hospital" I laughed. "Fair point, listen, we're meeting up with Gabe and Jack, and then we're going to go to our rehearsal space. We know its early, and you don't have to sing or whatever, but we were wondering if you wanted to join us?" Justin asked with hopeful eyes. It could be useful to be around the music I was supposedly a part of, and it would be nice to get out for a while. "Uh, yeah, sure. Just give me a minute?" They both nodded so I stepped to the side and allowed them in before running to get changed.
