Mr. Snow sent me home after Clove punched me. I wish he hadn't....
I get home and my mom looks at me
"What bus did you fall under?" She says
I didn't say anything. I'm used to her. I know what to do.
"Cat got your tongue?" She laughed. She is such a cruel person
I walk away and go to my room where I find my brother, Reese, sitting on my bed holding his face
"Reese, what's wrong?" I ask
He removes his hand from his face, and a massive, dried blood scar is revealed. It starts a few inches away from his left eye and ends at his chin.
"Dad....g-got mad at-t me" he started
"Oh my god..... what did he do?" I asked
"He smashes his beer bottle...." Reese started to cry, "and strikes me across the face with it"
"Reese!!" My fathers' voice boomed
I turned around and locked my bedroom door.
"Why did you come into my room?" I ask
"Because he wouldn't have expected that! I needed to hide!" Reese said
Reese was my younger brother who was 13 years old. And I had a younger sister, Cindy who was 4.
"Wait... where's Cindy?" I ask Reese
"She's at Jackie's" Reese said
"Oh....." I say
"Mom wants you to pick her up later" Reese says
~later on~
I walk down to Annie's house since it's very few neighbourhoods away. I get there and knock on the door.
I'm waiting around for a few minutes when the door finally opens. I'm surprised to see a bubbly, happy Clove....
