The Phoenix

LAST TIME:

Everyone was still slightly shocked at the sudden unexplained arrival of their visitors but they all seemed so nice, and so easy to trust everyone didn't mind. After all, if the Phoenix trusted him, why shouldn't they? By now the guests were sat with the school's protectors, chatting happily to each other. The Golden Trio on the other hand, had a different view on them and even thought they could date some of them and even thought they could date some of them because they deserved the best in many people's eyes but even this was a stretch.

Anyone in the school must have been able to see the relationships at the table, that is unless your names are Alex Potter. Even after blatantly seeing Percy and Annabeth kiss, he still thought he had a chance with her. After all, she was a just a dumb blonde right?

He sauntered up to the table like he had done only a week earlier. All conversations stopped as well.

"So Annabeth, what do you say?" He started out smugly, "Me and you? Somewhere with soundproof walls?" He wiggled his eyebrows seductively, clearly suggesting they do something that makes the author feel uncomfortable. (NO SMUT HERE KIDDO)

Percy looked bright red, not with anger but laughter. He finally couldn't hold it in any longer and just burst out laughing, literally rolling around on the floor. He was soon joined by Thalia, Nico and Leo. Even Phoenix and Reyna, who looked like she could rip your head if you even looked at her the wrong way, was smirking. In comparison, Annabeth was trembling with rage. EVeryone else looked on in either anticipation or in horror at what had happened.

"Aw. Is your boyfriend too weak to help you? Come here babe and I'll take care of you myself." This seemed to sober Percy up a little, enough to stop the laughter but the others just carried on laughing, harder than before. Annabeth simply took a deep breath to compose herself then slapped him across the face with so much force his head whipped to the side. It could very audibly be heard across the hall and many students were immediately wary of how much power the new group had.

Lily and James Potter, seeing their son turned down and hurt, immediately rushed to his aid.

"How could you! Our son is ten times the man your precious boyfriend will ever be so why did you slap him?"

"Because unlike your brat of a son James my boyfriend deserves the respect he is given!"

"Then why didn't he defend you?" Lily was just curious at this point.

"Annabeth is more than capable of looking after herself and I don't feel like I should fight her battles for her. If she has a reason of hitting someone across the face, she can do it." Percy interjected, smiling sweetly to his terrifying girlfriend.

Sadly, the rest of breakfast didn't pass without trouble. Hermione, in a fit of jealousy, confronted Percy on how he deserved better than Annabeth and said that she was smarter than her. This made many of the group end up on the floor in laughter again but Percy simply smirked and asked,

"Okay Hermione, if you're so smart, how do you kill a Hydra?"

"What's a Hydra?" was her smart response.

"Annabeth?"

"You have to cut a head off and then burn the stump before two more can grow back. They can sometimes spit acid as well so you have to dodge that while you do it."

"When are we ever going to need that useless information?" Hermione was outraged that there was something she didn't know and Annabeth did.

"Yeah, Hermione is the smartest witch in our year so stop disrespecting my best friend!" Annabeth, fed up with everything, walked over to Alex, placed a hand on his shoulder and judo flipped him to the floor. She then walked back to the table calmly.

Suddenly, things were flying towards the table. Jason got hit on the head by a brick and above all of the chaos, Percy could be heard saying,

"It's New Rome all over again guys! Leo please don't blow up the hall!" Soon the new arrivals were laughing on the floor, even Reyna and Phoenix although they looked more like the parents of the group, still allowing the others to have fun but making sure nobody died. Apart from Jason who was still recovering, all the while, objects flying through the air, in many directions.
