*Mitch's P.O.V.*
The closer this "battle" gets, the more real things feel. Before we knew, before it was coming, how happy things seemed. You never know what you truly have until you lose it, or think you are.... Just that feeling.
It just lashes out at you. Unexpected. It just happens. No matter who you are, it happens.
None of us know what will happen. Only a few who I have suspicions on... That they know... They just don't want to tell us. Afraid they'll be stopped from fear, or sadness.
I know things will happen, and sometimes, can't be stopped. It's the inevitable. Things happens, people die, they get hurt. You never know... It's kinda crazy, actually.
The feeling from it is strange. I don't really know what it is, really. The feeling is there, indescribable. All I know is that no one likes it, because it's unbearable. I am still unclear of what will happen.. I hope nothing bad will happen to our 'family' we have.
Death is the worst. Jerome, Emily, Jake, Harper, Adam, Ty, Cooki, Seto... Everyone. I don't want them to be hurt. I don't know what I'd do if Jerome died. Or anyone else for that matter. I want to keep them safe, I could never live through the fact they died. If it happens, hopefully never.
"Hey, Mitch?" I hear Jerome say. Interrupting my thoughts.
"Yeah, Jerome?" I turn to him.
"What do you think will happen out there?"
"I honestly don't know. I'm freaked the hell out, I can tell you that much..." He came over and enveloped me in a hug.
"I feel the same, biggums. There's no telling what could happen..." In a few minutes of silence, someone bursted through the door.
"Seto, Cooki, Jake? What are you guys doing here?"
"It's here. We need to go. Now!" Seto yells, and we go.
