Iris' P.O.V:
I wake up, led on top of Barry unsure of how I got there. My head is pounding and I still feel partially drunk. The last thing I remember from last night was coming up with one of the worst yet best drinking games ever. I stop and try and remember if I asked him was I was intending to or not but don't think I did.
A beam of light is shining through my curtains onto Barry's face. He's still completely lost in a deep slumber. I feel more tired than I've ever done in my life. I look at the clock to see it's 1:34pm already. I panic at the thought that my dad might have caught us like this and thought that something happened, which I'm pretty sure it didn't.
To save any potential awkwardness when Barry wakes up, I slide off of him and just snuggle up beside him. I'm struggling to get back to sleep because of the crushing headache I'm experiencing. I get bored and just chose to wake Barry up.
To make it look accidental, I just cough really loudly, which wasn't the best idea because it made my headache worse. It worked.

He vaguely opened his eyes and held his had to his head. Definitely suffering with a hangover as well. I wonder if he remembered much.

Barry's P.O.V:
I wake up with a thumping headache from last night. This is why I don't drink. I try and remember what happened and if I did anything stupid. I look to my right and see Iris just led there staring at me.
Shit.
I didn't trust what my drunken self might have said to her. I play it cool (like always.)
"Hi." I say, my voice tired. The beam of light shining through the curtains is in my face.
"Morning." She replies. "I didn't mean to wake you." She said. "Actually I did, I was bored and I need someone to share this hangover with." She laughed.
"What do you remember?" I ask, hoping she won't tell me I told her how I felt or that I made a move on her.

Luckily, she didn't. She remembers about the same as me, playing that crazy drinking game. I wondered how I was still in her bed but just assumed I was in such a state I couldn't take myself to my room and she was drunk too.
I felt her foot brush against mine underneath the covers and felt my heart speed up.
Then I remembered about Joe.
"Fuck." I said in realisation.
"What?" She said, confused.
"Joe." I said.
She laughed. "I don't think he realised, it's 1:42pm bar, he's at work."
"Oh, few.". There was a moment of silence. "I'm gonna go get some water." I sat up, almost falling back again. I was still drunk.
"Get me some, I'm dying here." She asked.
I was too busy trying to remain stable on my feet that I didn't acknowledge what she said.
"You okay?" She laughed.
"I think so." I said, using the wall to keep me balanced.
"Here, let me help you." She said, getting up but falling over as well. We both just started laughing.
"You're still drunk too, Iris, I don't think you can help me." I laughed.
We slowly managed to get into the kitchen and downed 2 cups of water.

We sat down in the lounge and I chucked a blanket over us both. "I told you that wasn't a good idea." I joked. She tapped my leg.
"Shut up, you were all for it." She said.

We watched 2 movies, one of which she fell asleep through. My headache was easing and I was starting to feel more sober.
It was now 5:58pm and we are sat on opposite sides of the sofa, sharing a blanket.
She's falling asleep again (she's never been a good drinker, nor have I) and I'm about to drift off when Joe walks in from work which wakes us up.
"Managed to drag yourselves out of bed then?" He asked as he walked over to the dinner table, placing down his brief case.
I didn't know what to say. What if he knows I slept in Iris' room last night?!
"What?" I ask, playing stupid. Iris looks at me her eyes widened.
"You're usually awake super early, this morning you weren't down here when I woke up. You had an eventful evening or something?" He asked in suspicion.
He definitely suspects somethings up. What if he thinks something happened?!
"What? No, I was just... tired. Long day at work yesterday. I fancied a lye in on my day off you know?" I say, trying to sound like I'm being wholly truthful.
"Huh." He said and walked off into the kitchen.
I looked at Iris and we both sighed in relief even though we knew he thought something was up. I don't know why we were so tense, nothing happened. Well... apart from yesterday in the lane but he wouldn't know about that.
