//this is basically what went through Oz's mind before his confession poem "It was an Accident" Prequel or background if you will. ENJOY WITH ALL YOUR HEART :3

They come and go everyday.

They come and go to see me.

But they never see me.

They see Oz.

Big and bold and wonderful.

The most amazing thing in the Land of Oz.

I am trying here.

I really am.

I really am trying to be the wizard Oz wants.

Ahem. Needs.

Have you seen the threats?

The man that just left me has to be made of tin.

All of his limbs were removed by his own axe.

How do I fix that?

How do I fix anything?

No one can fix everything.

Only the wizard.

I am anything but the wizard.

I am his voice, face, and physical form.

I have everything but magic.

And that's everything Oz is known for.

What am I doing here?

Why is there a need to be something I couldn't possibly be?

What persuaded fate to place me here?

And yet here I am.

So tired of being stuck.

Crammed into this position.

I sit on my chair, the watch around my neck sparkles under the chandelier overhead.

Waiting.

Why I am I still waiting?

What am I still waiting for?

I sit here and wait for nothing.

Nothing but the next group to come and go.

Nothing but time to finally take me away.

Whatever comes first.
